Ocean sailing from the south of Tenerife to Malaga, going upwind for more than a thousand miles.

Starting from San Miguel de Abona, near the Tenerife south airport, we will skirt the archipelago until we reach the sleek and unspoiled island of La Graciosa, from there, we will fly to Madeira, going up the trade wind, if time permits, stop and visit Funchal.

It then turns east towards Gibraltar, where it will stop for a couple of days to rest after the crossing and visit this evocative destination.

The cruise will end in Malaga.

Of course, you will sail non-stop, with day and night watch shifts, kitchen and corvè, this experience is suitable for all those who love to sail seriously!

WARNING! Basic personal equipment is mandatory: full oilskin, boots, self-inflating life jacket with double caving lanyard and via ferrata carabiners, headlamp. (I ask for personal equipment as it is an excellent discriminator for those who have no experience and have no idea what it means to sail for days in the ocean).

attention!!! The navigation is expected in 15 days but due to any adverse weather conditions it is vital to have a time availability of 3 to 4 weeks. The cost of the experience is per way and not per day.

REFIT ANNO 2008 Il KOALA 50 è la barca di serie nata dal mitico 50 piedi CS&RB Busnelli, con cui nel 1973/74 Doi Malingri partecipò alla prima edizione della Whitbread Round The World Race. Il fratello Franco fu il project manager dell’imbarcazione curando la parte ingegneristica e prese parte alla “famigerata” seconda tappa tra Città del Capo e Sidney. Su questa barca si sono scritte tra le più importanti pagine della marineria italiana nonché si sono formati i più grandi skipper contemporanei, il CS & RB naviga ancora ed attualmente si trova nel Sud Pacifico. Acquistata nel 2008 è stata completamente restaurata ed ammodernata, mantenendo però integro il carattere ed il suo temperamento. Dotata di 3 ampie e comode cabine doppie, 2 bagni con doccia con boiler, 4 posti in dinette per un totale omologato di 10 posti letto. We had an unforgettable holiday sailing around Formentera! The boat was the perfect way to experience the island — crystal-clear waters, breathtaking views, and the freedom to discover beautiful beaches. The company was wonderful, and every moment felt both relaxing and fun. A special mention goes to Filippo, our captain, and Max, who made the entire trip exceptional. They were professional, warm, and attentive. On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing — fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, making every meal a highlight of the day. This was truly a fantastic holiday, and we cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in Formentera.

Filippo is not only a knowledgeable, super attentive and caring captain, but also a remarkable gourmet cook and a very nice and interesting person: patient, fun, and flexible. He was perfectly supported by Max, whom we greatly appreciated for being always available as well as for his kindness, discretion and sense of humour. If you are looking for an authentic sailing holiday to enjoy Formentera's beautiful sea and breathtaking sunsets in a genuinely friendly and relaxed context, this is definitely for you and highly recommended! Filippo is a prepared, scrupulous, engaging and helpful skipper. His boat is large and equipped with many useful comforts during navigation, to let the crew relax and fully enjoy the experience. The itinerary is respected, always giving priority to emergency situations that may occur, such as bad weather; In this case there is no shortage of alternatives and if you are lucky enough to find a close-knit crew like ours, there will be no shortage of opportunities for fun. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, cocktails and aperitifs are of a high level: Filippo is organized and makes the trip an experience also from a gastronomic point of view. The sea is beautiful and the beaches, which can be reached by tender or with a sup, have magnificent colors. As soon as the wind permits, you can sail, with the possibility of being an active member in the operations. Last, but not least, Nao's presence cheers everyone up. If you have any doubts, get them out of your head and don't hesitate to book!
