The course aims to provide notions and experience to deal with offshore navigation, boat and crew management in long navigation conditions.

The theoretical teaching (which will be tackled in navigation) will mainly concern the tracing of routes, the analysis of critical points, the analysis of weather conditions; The practice is represented by 3 days of navigation on the high seas with management of the command, the crew, rest times, feeding and everything related to a navigation that takes up the whole day (and beyond)

Those with fair sailing knowledge, owners and/or licensees who want to hone their skills

STRUCTURE AND LOGISTICS:

The course is divided into 2 days (generally Saturday and Sunday) with several hours of navigation: the nights can be the port of destination, at anchor or at sea

The course begins on Friday evening with the embarkation and preparation of the galley and ends on Sunday at about 17:00 after the return to the port of departure and the accommodation of the boat.

Overnight stay and meals are on board the boat (unless the crew decides to dine in some restaurant in the ports of call). Participation subject to the possession of the annual ASD Acquaria AV card

At the end of the course, a certificate of participation will be issued
