This experience, in a nutshell

Boarding 27/08 Marina di Nettuno (RM) after 14:00

Disembarkation 03/08 Port of Sapri (SA) at 06:00

Have you ever participated in a ONE WAY sailing holiday?

It is one of the most beautiful adventures that you can experience, because in just one week you can visit many beaches that would normally take at least two weeks of vacation, all this without ever going back to them!

For this occasion we will sail between the islands of the Pontine archipelago (Ponza, Palmarola and Ventotene), the Gulf of Naples (Capri and Ischia) and the Amalfi Coast, the last stages of our journey will be Agropoli, Palinuro and the Gulf of Policastro.

The meeting is scheduled for Saturday 27 August in the port of Nettuno, where we will do a small briefing with the skipper and make up the list of the galley, the departure is scheduled for 18:00 with direction Palmarola which will be the first stop of our holiday.

PROGRAM:

Boarding in the port of MARINA DI NETTUNO

Saturday 27: departure at 17/18 from the port of Nettuno, towards Palmarola.
It is advisable to arrive around 14: 30/15 to have time to do a small briefing with the skipper and make up the galley list.
The overnight stay is foreseen in the harbor.

Sunday 28: we will spend the morning in Palmarola between dives in the crystalline waters of the island, a visit to the midday caves and some well-deserved relaxation. In the afternoon we will sail towards Ponza, the overnight stay will be back in the harbor at the pediment, for those who want it, there will be the opportunity to go ashore to visit the island.

Monday 29: after a rich breakfast on board, we will set the route for the natural arch of ponza, the natural arch, also called "u'spacc purp" is about 30 meters high from sea level and has an opening base of 7 mt. The seabed varies from six to three meters. Tradition has it that when you cross it by boat you have to make a wish and this will come true. It is inaccessible by land.

In the afternoon we will set sail in the direction of Ventotene; the overnight stay will be in the old Roman port, characteristic for its shops carved into the rock and for the typical flatbread stuffed with octopus.

Tuesday 30: Departure early in the morning towards Ischia, we will drop anchor in the bay of Sant'Angelo, here we will stop for the whole day, we will have a nice lunch on board and there will be the opportunity to go down to visit the island. At about 5 pm we will sail towards Capri, here we will spend the night in the harbor near the Faraglioni to see the dawn of the next day.

Wednesday 31: We will sail towards Agropoli, here, based on the weather, we will decide whether to stay overnight in the port or in the harbor. Agropoli is a small town in Cilento, also famous for its cuisine, consisting of both land dishes (pasta, vegetables, dairy products, salami) and seafood dishes (fish, crustaceans, molluscs). A typical product of Agropoli are anchovies which are prepared according to many traditional recipes: "mbuttunate" (stuffed, stuffed), "arreganate" (that is, seasoned with oregano).

Thursday 1: Palinuro direction, day at anchor and in the evening we will enter the port of SAPRI to refuel and disembark passengers the next day.

Friday 2: We will sail towards Sapri, where Early check-out and overnight in the port, we will certainly have a dinner in the port of Sapri, by boat or at the restaurant. The next morning we will have to leave the boat at 6:00 am, because I will have to leave early and reach Vibo Valentia which is 12h of navigation from Sapri.

Saturday 3: 06:00 check out. The landing will take place in the port of SAPRI

All in all a positive experience. The one-way formula is a good solution to visit many places, but perhaps too many. Skipper who despite his young age proved to be very professional and prepared. Nice and united group. Week flew by too quickly. Advice.

Beautiful places, but disappointing experience with Outsail. They charged me an undisclosed surcharge, from 90 it became 120 euros for an unsolicited 'single bed', I await the receipt. The breakage of the awning did not allow us to see all the places included in the program without alternatives offered.

Might have been a good trip if we actually got to do it, but really doubt it, because they are only accommodating to Italians. Should state that in the description. Italians only. We hadn't even left the dock yet and my boyfriend got injured on their shabby piece of wood that they used for a gangway. No railing, no nothing! He fell into the water, got injured really badly, and almost drowned. Finally the captain came to help. I think maritime law requires him to at least seek medical attention for his passengers instead of going back to bed. I think the law also states that a report should be filed, with the Capitaneria di Porto. I guess that I need to investigate it more, but I know one of the two were not done. In the morning he hands my boyfriend our two backpacks and stated that we will not be traveling with them. I nicely contacted the company to refund us the €440 cash that we paid on the boat for the charter pack €120 x 2, the deposit (cauzione) €100 x 2, and the €1,197 for the trip (From the Pontine to the Amalfi Coast - 19th-26th July 2025) that I paid for via Sailsquare. Their response to their inadequacies are to place blame on their paying guests. "Unfortunately, it is not our fault that your physical and mental condition was not suitable for traveling." "The trip was carried out regularly; it's not our responsibility if you were unable to depart due to your behavior." (I would actually like to know what behavior. I didn't say two words to anyone after my boyfriend got injured.) "We listened to all the voice messages you sent to the group that night, and it was clear from your voice that you had drunk a lot of alcohol and were not yourself." Great deflecting! Had the captain done his job correctly, you wouldn't be able to say any of that. Be warned! Go with a professional company that actually cares about their reputation and business more than stealing a person's hard earned money. One who actually cares for their customers. Also, the description of the trip is a lie. You are only sailing 5 days! They should make this clear before booking.

Overall positive experience: crew and skipper Leonardo super, excellent route to visit several islands without repeating them.
