This experience, in a nutshell

Welcome to the Desert des Agriates, one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the upper Tyrrhenian Sea. It is a natural park that develops between Saint Florent and Ile Rousse, its beaches are of wonderful white sand and difficult to reach by land.

For miles you can't see any human intervention, behind the beaches there are still intact dunes covered with Mediterranean scrub and then only nature as far as the eye can see. Even today it is possible to see groups of cows resting near the sea and foxes also come out at sunset. A place you'll remember forever.

We set sail from Rosignano on Sunday morning towards Capraia, another paradise on earth, we stop at anchor for lunch and then in the afternoon we continue to reach Corsica by evening. Sunday is dedicated to Cap Corse and in the afternoon we resume sailing to arrive in the Gulf of Saint Florent.

In the following days we will visit all the beaches of the Desert des Agriates, one evening we will go down to Saint Florent and if we can we try to reach Ile Rousse as well .

On Thursday morning we return to Cap Corse and then in the evening we will be in port in Capraia and enjoy the evening on this wonderful island.

On Friday evening we will be back at base.

I forgot, we like to feel good on the boat and so we will always prepare great food and drink good wine, we will not miss anything

Leg 1

Sunday - Capraia+Santa Maria

We set sail very early in the morning to reach Capraia before lunch, which is one of the islands of the Tuscan archipelago north of the island of Elba and closer to Corsica than to Tuscany. Over the last few years, it has become a sailor's paradise. A true paradise on earth with unspoiled nature and sea. From Rosignano it is about 30 miles of navigation to the west. After a short stop in Capraia we will reach Cap Corse and anchor at the bay of Santa Maria, where we will spend the night.

Sunday - Capraia+Santa Maria

Leg 2

Monday - Cap Corse

In the morning we will wake up in a sea of a crazy color and in absolute peace. The bay of Santa Maria is known for its Genoese watchtower which was bombed in the 1700s by the British and has been left that way ever since. After breakfast, we'll set sail for Desert des Agriates. During the sailing, we will round the island of Giraglia (famous for being the reference point of some prestigious regattas) and skirt the western side of Cap Corse, stopping for lunch (and swimming of course) in one of the coves along the coast. In the late afternoon we will arrive at our destination and spend the night at anchor in a protected roadstead.

Monday - Cap Corse

Leg 3

Tuesday & Wednesday - Agriates

We have reached our destination, during the day we will visit the various beaches of the Agriates Desert and in the evening we will still give in front of the villages of Saint Florent or Ile Rousse, with the possibility of going ashore with the tender.

Tuesday & Wednesday - Agriates

Leg 4

Thursday and Friday - Capraia

On the way back, on Thursday evening we stop one evening in the port of Capraia, we will enjoy the evening around the clubs of the island and if you want we can also go out for dinner. On Friday we will spend it in one of the bays of Capraia and in the afternoon we will return to the starting point

Thursday and Friday - Capraia

Overwhelmed by an unusual destiny in the blue sea of Corsica

5 stars is not enough for this review, it would take at least 10! Claudio is much more than a skipper: he is attentive to all the details of both navigation and vacation. Commander with a wealth of experience, precise and respectful of the rules and the environment, he is even ready with the equipment for a marble race on the beach! Reliable and sunny, always available. The icing on the cake of the holiday is his partner, Barbara, an experienced cook (attentive to all kinds of needs and requests) and an exceptional flagship! As he says, 'she can do everything I do, but I can't do everything she does'! The combination is nothing short of fantastic, I had a really really wonderful week, spoiled and pampered, and I also learned a little more about the lingo and sailing issues! The boat is also splendid, comfortable and with ample space. The itinerary allows both to gain sailing experience and to satisfy the desire for sunbathing and swimming in the sea. What more could you want?!? I told you that 5 stars are few!

Special holiday as Claudio and Barbara and the whole crew were in the first place! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the attention, professionalism and care I received! The captain and his partner are a wonderful couple as are the places they showed us and the food carefully prepared for every need! Blue Star, comfortable boat with private bathrooms for each cabin! Again thank you for your commitment, kindness and care both in the kitchen and for all the navigation. Greetings to the crew present for the company and the fun sharing.

Capraia and Northern Corsica - A paradise of our seas

What a holiday!! Amazing! Such as to bring melancholy for weeks if not months after! Claudio and Barbara, a very close-knit couple, accompanied us, sailing in total safety and professionalism, spoiling us with succulent meals, complete with a final "slipper"! We have seen places that only the eyes can tell, beautiful sunrises, sunsets and what starry stars! Wonderful sea, an unexpected encounter, with a sperm whale, made this holiday an indelible memory for life. Very nice travel companions, what a laugh! Blue Star, a name, a certainty, a holiday recommended to everyone. I hope to repeat it soon! Thank you all very much for this indelible holiday! Fair winds!
