This experience, in a nutshell

We find ourselves on Friday night to set off immediately in the direction of Capraia, we will arrive at destination before midnight a crossing under the banner of comfort and relaxation with the hope that the wind will accompany us to get to the wildest of the islands of the Tuscan archipelago.
There are no more than 200 people living on the island, the roads are as few as the cars, and the town, reachable on foot from the port, is a small medieval village dominated by the old fort.
La Capraia is part of the national park of the Tuscan archipelago, the sea is of a unique beauty as well as the hinterland.
The Mediterranean scrub offers wonderful and unique scents and colors, the many paths lead us to the most extreme points of the island from where you can admire its pristine beauty. An island to love, welcoming and sincere.
We will return on Sunday afternoons.

Perfect holiday! Professional and welcoming skippers (Alessio and Giacomo), nice and fun travel companions. We visited lovely places guided by the experience of the skippers. An experience certainly to be repeated with the Team of Matteo, Alessio and Giacomo.

A week of bad weather, managed by making us feel very safe at all times. We were on the 16-meter boat, which is very beautiful, although I confirm that it has small maintenance needs. Our skippers (Giacomo and Sergio) were fantastic, as was the very nice company as well. The flotilla for us was not very good. The other boat has lived a very autonomous life and in fact has been more of a ballast than a resource. Too bad! In general, I didn't get along much with the style of the holiday. Long daytime sailings, a few hours to stay in the water, preference for beaches (although very beautiful) rather than coves where you can snorkel. Better to know before leaving. Beyond the choices dictated by the escapes from the storms, other decisions were imposed by the organization without consulting us much. A few more departures at dawn (arriving at our destination in the early afternoon instead of 5 pm) would have reduced the feeling of not having made the sea while being on a boat, quite shared by everyone. I also feel like replying to Matteo's response on the comment of one of my travel companions, since she cannot intervene again and since it is a topic that he brought up and that had not been mentioned. There was no unauthorized bathing. Saleccia beach, very calm sea, we set off towards the rocks a little far away (we know how to swim well), warning one of the skippers about where we were going. The wind picks up and the sea becomes rough, we have some difficulty returning and we ask for help from a dinghy that was passing by. We are surprised that after two hours no one had cared where we had ended up. Matteo (who was not present in any of the moments recounted while on the other boat) intervenes with great arrogance, rudeness and above all total lack of professionalism, which he confirmed by writing that lying comment. Thank goodness that his young son Giacomo was impeccable even in that situation saying the only sensible things that could be said. Bravo him!

A dancing week. Time didn't play much in our favor, but we didn't let it get us down. Giacomo and Sergio are always ready to find an alternative solution and keep their spirits up. However, we respected the itinerary and saw the white beaches of Corsica, Capraia and also the Island of Elba at speed.

Great professionalism of the skippers Giacomo and Sergio. Matteo the skipper of the other boat a real sea dog (great experience, great professionalism but also very direct). The weather has somewhat limited the initial program but in any case it has largely been respected even if I would not do it again because apart from the saleccia I have not seen memorable coves that there are, for example, in the northeast of Sardinia. Fantastic crew. My personal accommodation very sacrificed (bunk bed in a tiny cabin. Uncomfortable mattress. The inconveniences that were not important were amply compensated by the Skippers (Giacomo and Sergio) who were an added value of the holiday, two exceptional "guys" who were always available and courteous. I will definitely return by boat with them but obviously with a different itinerary. Professionalism and safety at sea are a priority for me, the other aspects, although important, are sometimes accepted to take a back seat.
