Incredibly beautiful and fast... The Amphrodite 101 is above all a thoroughbred sailboat, not a sea caravan. It has an extremely sleek design, flush deck, low freeboard, high build quality, 7/8 rig, fast and easy to sail even solo. She is narrow and long and on the web you will be spoilt for choice to read the hosannas to the qualities of this myth-boat. The well-known designers Jan Kjaerulff and Paul Elvström have realised all their ideas and creativity in this project. Built in Denmark in accordance with high quality criteria, in keeping with strict class regulations, with an elaborate mahogany interior, the Amphrodite 101 fulfils every sailor's wish. The pleasure of sailing an uncomplicated, yet sporty and fast boat is not only important for racing sailors. Giving up a few small comforts will be rewarded with the thrill of a unique experience! The approach and departure under sail or the possibility of smooth sailing even in a restricted stretch of water are a source of true sailing pleasure.The Amphrodite 101 is, thanks to its beautiful lines and exceptional speed, an integral part of the nautical world of Central Europe and Scandinavia. Almost 500 boats have been built to date, many sailing on Lake Constance.  But also in the Mediterranean, in the USA and even in South Africa there are some specimens. My model in particular has sailed in Sweden and Denmark, has been in the Adriatic since 2011 and is the only specimen currently in Italy.
