Arbatax can be reached by road along the SS125 Orientale Sarda along the east coast of Sardinia; from Cagliari the route follows the SS125 in a north-easterly direction, from Olbia continue on the SS131 and then on the SS125 southwards; Travel times vary depending on traffic and road conditions, with journeys of the order of a few hours between the main airports and the town. For those arriving from the peninsula with their own vehicle, ferries to Sardinia embark cars in the main ports of central-northern Italy; on the island the vehicle allows direct access to Arbatax and the local connection roads.

The nearest airports to Arbatax are Cagliari-Elmas, Olbia-Costa Smeralda and Alghero-Fertilia, with road transfers to the resort via car rental, taxi or regional bus lines; Transfer times by car vary approximately from about 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the arrival airport and traffic. There is also a minor airport in the Tortolì/Arbatax area that can be operational with seasonal connections; from the main airports, the routes continue by road according to the indications of the SS125 or through private transfer services.

The port of Arbatax receives seasonal maritime connections from the mainland and other Sardinian ports; the main embarkations for Sardinia take place from Civitavecchia and other ports of the Tyrrhenian Sea, with night or day crossings whose duration depends on the route and the type of ship. Departures and companies vary throughout the year; the transfer from the port of arrival to Arbatax takes place directly if the ferry docks in the local port, otherwise the route is completed by road from the port of disembarkation on the island.

If all cabins are occupied by guests, the skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in the dinette.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, those who book individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Places are assigned at the skipper's discretion considering age, physical structure, except in special cases.

The purchase of the galley is made by the crew accompanied by the skipper trying to satisfy everyone's needs.

Meal preparation is an activity shared by all participants in the experience. The skipper advises those who take turns in charge of the kitchen on the correct use of the on-board equipment

It is the responsibility of all participants to take care of the cleaning of the common areas on board, to wash the dishes in turn. Participants collaborate in the maneuvers of driving the boat, they can stay at the helm if they want and gain experience in driving a sailboat. The skipper is also a sailing instructor.

It is advisable to travel light: especially in summer, bathing suits, T-shirts and shorts are almost exclusively used on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the middle of summer, something heavier is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of disrupted weather or while sailing. • a soft bag that is foldable to hold things • a sleeping bag or sheet and pillowcase, • a pair of shoes with a clear and clean rubber sole to be used only on board, • sunscreens • Towel • something waterproof (which you never know) • fleece or sweater if it is "cooler".

Limit the use of large hard suitcases, hair dryers and hair straighteners can only be used when returning to port

The use of a soft bag is required to carry the luggage, so that it can be easily stored. Avoid rigid suitcases and large trolleys that are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag can be useful for outings on land.

Yes, but outside the boat and downwind, and always with full respect for the other participants. Under no circumstances is it permitted to throw cigarette butts into the sea.

The boat is equipped with both 12V sockets (with USB and/or cigarette lighter connectors) that can normally be used at any time, and 220V sockets that can only be used when docked in ports, once connected to the charging stations on the quay.

We will spend the night moored in a bay or in port, where we will be able to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
