This experience, in a nutshell

Ready to set sail between sea and sky aboard a splendid full-sail catamaran?

Imagine living a unique adventure, sailing among the islands of the mythological Aeolus, the undisputed God of the winds, in an archipelago that seems to come out of a fairy tale. The Aeolian Islands await you with their ancestral fascinations, between two still active volcanoes that will leave you breathless: Stromboli, the lava giant that enchants with the primordial force of its nocturnal eruptions, and Vulcano, home of the god of Fire, where the earth still seems to throb with energy.

You will sail between islands with breathtaking landscapes, crystal clear waters and ancient maritime traditions. You will climb the crater of Vulcano, explore the black beaches of Stromboli, and lose yourself in the magic of starry nights, with the sea surrounding you and the roar of the volcano in the distance.

A journey to discover wild nature, history and legend. Ready to be enchanted by the Aeolian Islands?

Leg 1

Day 1 - Portorosa

Meeting from 15:30/16 in Portorosa and first Briefing with crew. Boarding and accommodation on board with galley accommodation from 17:30/18. Once everything is done and weather permitting, we set sail at sunset towards the first of the islands; Vulcan. A bay that seems out of time, black beach and crystal clear purple water, a wild nature made up of prickly pears, capers and wild goats that love to go down into the water. The island is made up of four volcanoes, only one of which is active, the last eruption dates back to 1888, lasted four years, volcanic manifestations are still present

Leg 2

Day 2 - Volcano > Salina

Wake up and breakfast in Vulcano and mornings dedicated to the discovery of Vulcano, swimming in the sulphurous springs or walking in Vulcanello. After lunch we set sail for the Faraglioni of Lipari and after a swim and a relaxing break, here we sail towards the Salina Veridiana. We arrive for aperitif time in Santa Maria di Salina, where we can choose to enter the port, "the Port of the Aeolian Islands", or stay in the port at its entrance and get off with the tender for a walk in its characteristic center and why not also for a dinner Salina as well as for its wines and its Malvasia is also famous for having one of the best restaurants in the Aeolian Islands.

Leg 3

Day 3 - Salina - Filicudi

Beautiful island! In the past it was called Phenicusa which means fern hawk. It has an oval shape and on the south-east side it extends to the promontory of Capo Graziano, a small peninsula connected by a part of land to the main part of Filicudi. The inhabitants (called "Filicudari") are scattered in the three main parts of the island: Filicudi Porto, Valle Chiesa and Pecorini a Mare. There is also the very important and characteristic rock of 85 meters, the so-called "La canna", which rises in the middle of the sea. Its landscape and its breathtaking sunset seen from "Punta Stimpanato" are also wonderful... What a mystical experience!

Leg 4

Day 4 - Filicudi-Stromboli

Breakfast and navigation to the famous bay of Pollara in Salina, a small hamlet where "The Postman" was filmed by Massimo Troisi, from here after lunch we will head towards Stromboli. I arrive in the late afternoon and can arrange an excursion to the volcano or admire the eruptions from the sea. After a good dinner in a local tavern, we'll spend the night at anchor on gecko island. One of the most fascinating events on the island is certainly the Sciara del Fuoco, the lava flow that descends to the sea. Volcanic explosions with a jet of incandescent lapilli at great heights and lighting up the sky in red, occur all year round and never disappoint anyone.

Leg 5

Day 5 - Stromboli-Panarea

In the morning, take a walk immersed in the absolutely evocative atmosphere of the town of Stromboli. very characteristic. We will set sail for Strombolicchio and then set sail for the island of Panarea where we will visit the satellite island of Basiluzzo with its vegetation full of dwarf palms, the bay of Calajunco in Panarea with a beautiful turquoise green natural pool, the islet of Lisca Bianca with the famous Grotta degli Innamorati and Lisca Nera. Stop in the spectacular Milazzo bay and then all ashore to explore the island with its nightlife.

Leg 6

Day 6 - Panarea-Lipari

Route to Lipari for a relaxing stop at the magnificent White Beach, or the pumice quarries. Lunch in the bay and in the late afternoon free land to visit the town of Lipari and for those who want the archaeological and volcanological museum.

Leg 7

Day 7 - Lipari-Portorosa

We will leave early heading south, towards Vulcano, to stop after Punta Gelso and enjoy a relaxing swim and where we will admire a very varied coastline full of reddish colors typical of the island and visit the Grotta del Cavallo. Before returning to Portorosa, where we will spend the last evening together celebrating, we will have time to take a swim at the beach of Vinci with its fumaroles.
