This experience, in a nutshell

We will embark in Nidri , where the harbour master's office will issue us with a charter licence embarkation and departure document.

We will sail between the coasts of Lefkas, Meganisi, Ithaca, Kastos, Kalamos and the smaller but beautiful Atoko, Arcudi Formicula, in an area that will allow us to explore bays, islands and landscapes without facing long navigations and with the certainty of always finding our place to spend the days at the beach, or a tavern for dinner or a bay to spend the night

The boat Beneteau Cyclades 43.4 has 4 double cabins 2 bathrooms, the dinette will not be used as a bed:

I am a FIV FEDERAL INSTRUCTOR so those who want to support me in navigation will be more than welcome! I prefer to sail, as long as the wind assists us to cover our stages !!

There will be an excellent rigid tender with a 6 HP engine for embarkation and disembarkation at anchor, a Sup for free use and an assortment of masks and fins!

Our itinerary

Embarkation and disembarkation will take place in Nidri village on the island of Lefkas. From here we will move on Saturday as soon as the galley is completed.

The islands that we will touch are those already indicated and each one has beautiful places in quantity. If we start by going towards Ithaca or Kastos, an area more sheltered from the Mistral, the weather at that time can only tell us, this in order to make the most of it at the most favorable moment, and then we are by boat not by train right?:)

In addition to the islands mentioned we will decide whether to make a stop in one of the typical villages of the coast or on Kefalonia, Eufimia or Fiscardo, we will not be forced to long navigations.

During the days we will move in the morning for a first stretch of navigation enjoying the panorama of green islands and cliffs to go and stop in beautiful places where you can enjoy sea sun relaxation, then another stretch of navigation to reach the place where you will spend the night, alternating villages and roadsteads.

La barca è molto accogliente e ben tenuta. Lo skipper molto competente, disponibile e rassicurante. Abbiamo navigato a vela e fatto bellissimi bagni nonostante il meteo non sia stato dei migliori. Esperienza da consigliare.

Ottima esperienza, belle isole ed un capitano davvero molto bravo, sempre disponibile, attento e molto competente, anche a schivare i nuvoloni che in quel periodo agitavano cielo e mare. Bella barca e comoda.

Per me e i miei amici è stata la vacanza perfetta. Il posto assolutamente suggestivo, con acqua cristallina, un sacco di pesci e grotte naturali. Francesco conosce benissimo tutta la zona e ci siamo affidati al 100% a lui per farci consigliare la destinazione migliore a seconda del giorno e del vento (decisamente bravissimo a valutare anche la bellezza dei paesini e dei posti in cui sbarcare); ogni volta che c'era vento (anche fino a 20 o più nodi) si andava a vela e lui apertissimo a rispondere a domande sulla navigazione. Anche le notti in rada (tutte eccetto una in porto) sono state molto tranquille, con poca onda e risvegli in posti mozzafiato. Nonostante siamo andati a fine settembre il tempo è stato godibile ed era piacevole fare il bagno in ogni momento. La barca spaziosa e vissuta tranquillamente in 6 ospiti. Siamo stati fortunatissimi con il resto dell'equipaggio a livello di compatibilità e simpatia. Ci siamo divertiti tantissimo anche con Francesco che, nonostante fosse generalmente riservato, non si tirava mai indietro dal fare caciara con noi

il titolo della nostra vacanza: una continua sorpresa! A pochi giorni dalla partenza, scopriamo che è stata cancellata dall'armatore per problemi tecnici al motore. Luca di Sailsquare mi ripropone "al volo" un'alternativa che accetto e che ci ha soddisfatto immensamente; lo ringrazio per la sua professionalità! E qui conosco Francesco, una persona davvero professionale, con cui abbiamo avuto la fortuna di condividere la vacanza e la sua barca in maniera esclusiva, essendo io e la mia compagna unici membri dell'equipaggio. Ho potuto veleggiare con la sua supervisione ed accrescere così la mia passione e le mie capacità per la vela, che amo sempre più. Grazie Fra!
