This experience, in a nutshell

It is not yet summer, but the sun is starting to get hot. It's not time for swimming, but it's a great time to go sailing and enjoy an island away from the summer hustle. You can unplug without taking vacation for a weekend of pure relaxation, nature, sport and fun.

A weekend on a boat suitable for everyone, from those approaching sailing for the first time and those who already have experience at different levels. We will discover the island of Elba, the third largest island in Italy which, with its 147 km of coastline, gives us an infinite number of scenery and biodiversity that never cease to enchant.

We will visit Porto Azzurro, a characteristic village that in summer is populated with life, with many boutiques, markets and excellent restaurants. Or Portoferraio, with its fortress in the background while sipping an aperitif along the beautifulMedici Darsena. We will sail to discover breathtaking bays such as Ortano with its islet near Porto Azzurro, or Cala dello Zupignano, in the Gulf of Portoferraio. Or even the beach of Sansone or the gulfs of Viticcio or the O Paolina to the north, near the town of Marciana Marina. In short, we are spoiled for choice.

Our itinerary

The itinerary is indicative. Depending on the weather, we will decide which routes to follow and which areas of the coast to visit.

On Friday afternoon we will embark at the Marina di San Vincenzo. After arranging luggage and galley, weather permitting, we will leave immediately and sail at sunset and at night to arrive in the late evening either in Porto Azzurro or in the Gulf of Viticcio where we will spend the night in the roadstead.

In the morning, after enjoying a nice coffee with one of the scenery that Elba offers us as a backdrop, we will sail along the coast to discover the island. Saturday night will be spent in Portoferraio to be able to fully experience the characteristic historic village of the town with its clubs, restaurants or boutiques.

On Sunday more sea and sailing and then return to San Vincenzo for the final goodbyes.

The common fund must be paid on board and includes: - Galley, on average 15 euros per day; - Port of embarkation plus other ports, between 50 and 70 euros per night; - Diesel calculated at 10 euros / engine hour.

€15 Per person

The fee of 15 euros for the starter pack refers to membership with our association. It is valid until 31 December, includes accident insurance and entitles you to discounts on other initiatives of the association.

Everything perfect, three really beautiful days, too bad the bad weather we had to postpone the departure, but the skipper Marco was very helpful and accommodating, we spent our mini holiday in joy and without problems. What can we say ..... Return!!!!
