This experience, in a nutshell

Easter, it's not yet time for baths but you can already breathe the air of spring. And the eagerness to go boating and experience nature grows day by day. And we've created this unique experience to satisfy both cravings.

Taking advantage of this long bridge, we will discover two of the pearls of the Tuscan Archipelago, the island of Elba and the island of Capraia, two popular destinations for lovers of trekking and sailing.

To splendid sailings that will satisfy both the most experienced and the neophytes, to improve or learn their sailing knowledge, we will combine two trekking trips, relying on the experience of one of our guides who will accompany us through itineraries with breathtaking landscapes.

Elba, with its 147 km of coastline, is the third largest island in Italy. Thanks to its vast surface area, it offers us a great wealth of marine and terrestrial fauna and flora. We move from the Mediterranean scrub in the south, to a richer vegetation on the north side of the island to get to the woods on the cliffs overlooking a crystal clear sea on the west side.

An infinite number of routes, many suitable for everyone along the coasts that cross rolling hills, or some more challenging and reserved for the more experienced on the renowned Monte Capanne, over 1000 m.

Sailing we will then reach Capraia, to find a completely different scenario. A small unspoiled island, a small high village with less than 400 inhabitants and its characteristic marina, along which there are some restaurants and shops selling typical local products.

Going up in altitude, choosing more or less demanding routes, we can admire beautiful landscapes with Corsica in the background, surrounded by a sea of truly evocative colors.

We would have to talk for hours about these magical places, so all that remains is to join our crews and live a unique experience firsthand. We look forward to seeing you on board!

Leg 1

Day 1

After assigning the cabins and arranging the galley, we will leave the port, and with the bow to the west, we will sail at sunset to reach the roadstead of Viticcio. Once we reach our destination we will give more and go to bed to rest, ready to face our experience the following day to discover the north side of the island. Obviously, the itinerary may be subject to changes depending on sea and wind conditions.

Day 1

Leg 2

Day 2

In the morning, after a nice breakfast, we will disembark you with our tenders. Accompanied by the guide, you will cross the beautiful gulfs of Viticcio, Biodola and Procchio, their white sand and emerald sea will be the backdrop to this itinerary.

In the bay of Procchio we will be waiting for you with our trusty boats. After relaxing a bit in a truly evocative location, we will weigh anchor and set sail for the island of Capraia to face the second part of our adventure. About 4 hours of navigation await us from Capraia and, once we reach our destination, we will sleep in one of the island's pristine roadsteads.

Day 2

Leg 3

Day 3

In the morning we will leave the roadstead to reach the characteristic port of the town, the starting point of the many itineraries scattered on the island. The guide will decide which one to tackle, along the coast, enjoying landscapes from the other cliffs overlooking the sea, or to reach the highest altitudes, where you can admire breathtaking views, with the sea as a 360° frame and the islands of Corsica, Elba and Gorgona as a backdrop. Once back in the port, you can visit the upper village and its characteristic village of colorful houses. In the evening we will be able to have dinner with the whole crew in a characteristic fish farm, run by a family of fishermen.

Day 3

Leg 4

Day 4

We will leave the port around 8 am to resume the navigation that will take us back to Piombino. We will head back to Elba or the Gulf of Baratti, where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, before returning, last edges in the Piombino channel, always generous with good winds, and then entry to the marina of the Tuscan archipelago where our adventure will come to an end.

Day 4

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.
