This experience, in a nutshell

Join us to discover this jewel of the Tuscan Archipelago. An island with a village of less than 400 inhabitants, surrounded by protected waters.

A small high village is the marina, along which we find some restaurants and shops selling typical local products.

Small mountains that exceed 400 meters dominate the island and are crossed by numerous more or less demanding paths, which make it a popular destination for trekking and diving enthusiasts from all over Europe.

Its coves full of caves, a crystal clear sea and a seabed full of life, attract many lovers of the sea and sailing, especially because it is an island that can only be visited by boat.

All this, combined with a small number of accommodation facilities, makes Capraia an unspoiled natural paradise that deserves to be discovered.

And that's why we have created this experience to introduce you to these magnificent places by sea and by land.

We are waiting for you on board to experience this adventure together, in which sport, nature, relaxation and fun will be the ingredients that will make it magical and unforgettable.

Our itinerary

On Thursday afternoon we will embark and after arranging the galley and assigning the cabins, we will be able to go out and visit the village of San Vincenzo and maybe eat a pizza all together to start making amalgamation among all the crew members. On Friday morning, after having a nice breakfast, we will leave the port, and with a course 265° we will sail to reach Capraia. A beautiful sail of about six hours, during which we will delight in maneuvering and steering the boat at the helm. We will arrive more or less at lunchtime in Cala del Moretto, a beautiful cove south of the island with crystal clear water colors. Here we will have lunch and before dark, a nice sail around the island awaits us. Passing through the picturesque Cala Rossa, Cala del Ceppo, the gulf of the port and Cala di Porto Vecchio, we will arrive at anchor at Mortola, one of the most evocative coves on the island for its colors and numerous caves along its rocky walls overlooking the sea. In the evening we will sleep at anchor, and doing it in a period when the sea is not crowded by mass tourism, makes it particularly exciting because it allows us to feel completely in contact with the sea. The next morning we will enter the port, from where all the walks and trekking routes that branch off to the island begin. Accompanied by one of our guides who will be on board with us from the beginning, we will discover this island as wild as it is fascinating and rich in history, with its views overlooking the sea and the islands of Corsica, Elba and Gorgona that stand out on the horizon. Depending on the weather conditions and the level of the crew members, the guide will decide on an itinerary of medium or a little more advanced level, in order to make the experience pleasant and safe for everyone. In the evening, back in port, we will go to eat in a famous fish tourism run by a fishing family, where we will be able to enjoy a dinner based on local fish. The next morning we will return, but not before making a short stop at anchor outside the port, to enjoy the last moments of relaxation before facing the return navigation.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Overall, I felt like an unwanted guest. So, I wouldn't recommend it. I found Marco very rude and not at all attentive to his guests, on the contrary... There would be so many things to include... lack of water (which no one had used), unjustified overnight stay in the port of Capraia (total stay of three nights... only later did we realize that it was to clean the boat, since the next day, when we disembarked, the next group was already there waiting), tender never used for us but only to disappear several times a day (without even warning), itinerary proposed in the modified event (for its own reasons). The boat is his personal storage of everything and this affects you to feel like an unwelcome guest. On the other hand, I think he knows how to steer the boat very well.
