This experience, in a nutshell

May 1st, the sun is already warm and we hear the call of nature awakening. A sailing experience is not just about the sea and swimming, but it can be much more. And for this long weekend in late spring, we wanted to create a unique experience of sailing, sport, fun and relaxation, which we will live with two boats and which will take us to discover by sea and by land, one of the pearls of the Tuscan Archipelago.

Accompanied by our guides, we will combine the pleasure of experiencing the sea on a sailing boat with the fun of discovering an island full of life with fun trekking and E-bike excursions and a visit to one of the fascinating ancient iron mines along the coast. The island of Elba, with its 147 km of coastline, is the third largest island in Italy. A vast territory that you never stop discovering, full of trekking and E-bike routes that attract enthusiasts from all over Europe.

Each side of the island has different naturalistic characteristics. From the hills to the south with Mediterranean scrub, where there are some of the ancient iron mines scattered along the coast, to the woods overlooking the cliffs overlooking the sea to the east, where we find Monte Capanne of over 1000 meters, an attraction for the most experienced trekkers and bikers. And still to the north are the white beaches of Paduella and Capo Bianco, behind Portoferraio, the three large gulfs of Viticcio, Biodola and Procchio or the beach of Sant'Andrea with its small village, a corner of paradise near the town of Marciana Marina. And then the history, the Napoleonic residences, one of which is currently a museum and many other testimonies left during his exile. In short, hours would not be enough to tell about this island.

The trekking and E-bike itineraries will be very suggestive and suitable for everyone.

All you have to do is join our crews to experience a unique adventure with us.

We look forward to seeing you on board

Leg 1

Day 1- Embarkation

We will embark in the late afternoon. After arranging the galley and assigning the cabins, we could take a walk in the village of San Vincenzo and eat a pizza all together, to start amalgamating with the whole crew.

Day 1- Embarkation

Leg 2

Day 2 - First trek

Early in the morning, we will leave the port of San Vincenzo and sail for 4 hours to reach Portoferraio. During the navigation, both more experienced and novice will be able to participate in the maneuvers on board and in the management of the boat. Once in Portoferraio we will disembark the crews who, accompanied by our guide, will cover the trekking route that will take them to the Gulf of Viticcio. Here they will find the skippers with boats waiting for them.

After relaxing a bit on board, before reaching the village of Marciana Marina, we will have fun sailing between the great gulfs of the Viticcio, Biodola, and Procchio, which in addition to giving us beautiful landscapes, offers us a lot of fun thanks to the ever-present currents. In the late afternoon we will reach the village of Marciana Marina. Depending on the sea and wind conditions, we will decide whether to enter the port or to anchor in front of the village. In the evening we will go ashore to visit Marciano Marina.

Day 2 - First trek

Leg 3

Day 3-Trekking Sant' Andrea

In the morning, the crews will be ready for another pleasant walk that will take us from the village of Marciana Marina, to the beach of Sant'Andrea, a magical place with emerald water. The route crosses an undergrowth on cliffs overlooking the sea and there is no shortage of encounters with animals such as mouflons or fawns that populate that side of the island in large numbers. Once in Sant'Andrea we will relax in a very suggestive location and in the late afternoon, we will resume navigation towards Marina di Campo.

Day 3-Trekking Sant' Andrea

Leg 4

Day 4-Sea, sailing and relaxation

Day 4 will be dedicated to sailing and the discovery of the south coast that goes from the Gulf of Marina di Campo to Punta dei Ripalti, passing through the great Gulfs of Lacona and Golfo Stella. We will admire beautiful places such as the small Gemini Islands, or the beach of Punta Calamita, so called because of the presence of iron in the ground. And right in this area there are some of the many ancient mi yesterday of the island, one of which we will visit the following day. From Punta di Ripalti we will go up northwards, to meet the Gulf of Porto Azzurro. our next destination. Here we will anchor for the night and go down to visit the most chic and evocative town on the island.

Day 4-Sea, sailing and relaxation

Leg 5

Day 5- E-bike & Mine

In Porto Azzurro we will be joined by the e-bike guide and the organization with the bikes. After receiving a few easy technical notions, we will set off on our tour along a route suitable for everyone that passes through Monte Calamita to arrive at the Tenuta delle Ripalte, an estate of €450 hectares that offers us truly breathtaking views of the sea. We will then arrive at the Ginevro mine, where another environmental guide will accompany us inside up to 24 m, to discover this mysterious and evocative place. At the end of the tour we will return to Porto Azzurro, where we could visit the characteristic villages of the most chic town on the island and enjoy a dinner in one of the many local restaurants with both of them with local restaurants with both with all the crews.

Day 5- E-bike & Mine

Leg 6

Day 6- Return

In the morning we will set sail and leave Porto Azzurro sailing north to add the island of Palmaiola. We will go again to the only cove of the small islet where we will have lunch surrounded by beautiful scenery with truly wonderful water colors. After lunch we will resume navigation to cover the last two and a half hours that separate us from the port of San Vincenzo for the return.

Buon Vento a tutti.
