This experience, in a nutshell

Exploring the island of Giglio by sailboat over a weekend is an extraordinary experience that promises adventure, relaxation and discovery.
The island of Giglio, located off the Tuscan coast, is a hidden jewel in the Tyrrhenian Sea, with breathtaking scenery and an enchanting atmosphere.

The sensation of freedom and peace one experiences on a sailing boat is indescribable. The sound of the waves crashing against the hull and the wind in your hair create a special connection with the sea.
As you approach the island of Giglio, you find yourself immersed inunspoilt nature. The rocky coastline is dotted with hidden coves and golden sandy beaches, ready to be discovered. You can anchor in secluded bays and snorkel to explore the rich seabed, or simply relax on the bow of the boat, admiring the breathtaking panorama.
The island of Giglio also offers the opportunity to explore its picturesque historic centre, with its cobbled streets and colourful houses. Here you can enjoy local delicacies in traditional restaurants and immerse yourself in the cosy atmosphere of the island.

While sailing, you can take turns at the helm and learn some sailing basics.
Spending a weekend on a boat is a great way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature and the sea, creating indelible memories of an unforgettable weekend.

Our itinerary

Embarkation, to begin this fascinating winter sailing experience, is scheduled on Friday evening around 6pm at Porto Santo Stefano (Argentario). Having assigned our cabins and settled our luggage, we will proceed to do the necessary galley work for our weekend, and then spend a pleasant evening between aperitifs and dinner in the welcoming village.

Saturday morning, after a nice breakfast, we will set sail and head for the Island of Giglio, where we will arrive in about 2 hours of sailing. You will take turns at the helm and learn some sailing basics. Depending on the weather, we will assess the best roadstead to drop anchor and enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by the wonderful panorama and sea of the island.
We will spend the night at anchor - if you decide to enjoy the nature and boating experience to the fullest (weather permitting) - or in the port.

Sunday breakfast and off we go! We will sail around the island between manoeuvres and then anchor in another beautiful roadstead for lunch.
Around 3pm we will drop anchor to set the bow at Porto Santo Stefano for disembarkation around 5pm.

The programme may vary depending on weather conditions.
