This experience, in a nutshell

A weekend on a sailing boat between the Tuscan coast and the Island of Elba is the perfect opportunity to unplug and experience the sea from a unique point of view. The experience begins with boarding in the port, where you can already breathe the atmosphere of departure: the welcome on board, a toast with the crew, perhaps a dinner together, and the boat that becomes home for a few days. From there, we set sail at dawn towards Elba, sailing among breathtaking views, crystal clear waters and small seaside villages to be discovered.

During the crossing and stops, there is room for everything: exploring on land, relaxing in the bay, taking a dip for the bravest or enjoying the sun on deck with a good glass of wine. The nights at anchor under the stars, the silence of the sea and the gentle rolling of the boat make this experience even more impressive. And in the end, as we head back home, the desire to get back on board soon remains.

Our itinerary

Our trip starts here:

Check-in: 8:00 PM

Our trip ends here:

Piombino.

Check-out: 6:00 PM

Leg 1

Friday evening - boarding

We meet in the port in the late afternoon or evening in Piombino, we arrange our luggage on board, we have a quick safety briefing and maybe we have dinner together in one of the restaurants near the port or directly on the boat, enjoying the pre-departure atmosphere. We spend the night comfortably moored in Piombino, ready to set sail at dawn.

Leg 2

Saturday

Piombino > Porto Azzurro > Golfo Stella

The day starts early: we cast off early in the morning and point the bow towards the Island of Elba. After a few hours of navigation crossing the Piombino Channel, we will skirt the island to Porto Azzurro, one of the most fascinating gems.

Arrival expected at the end of the morning: the seaside village welcomes us with its colorful facades and lively squares. We can disembark for a walk, a lunch in the restaurants on the seafront or an aperitif overlooking the sea.

In the afternoon, we resume sailing along the south-eastern coast towards the Golfo Stella, a wide and protected bay, perfect for a quiet stop. The crystal clear water invites you to dive in (for the daredevils) or simply relax in the sun, perhaps with a good glass of wine in hand. Overnight stay in the roadstead, under a starry sky, lulled by the slight roll of the boat.

Leg 3

Sunday

Golfo Stella > (Portoferraio or Marciana Marina, depending on the weather) > Piombino

On Sunday morning we decide the route based on wind and sea conditions.

If the weather is favorable in the north, we can focus on Marciana Marina, one of the most picturesque ports on the island, nestled between the hills and the turquoise sea. Alternatively, we choose Portoferraio, with its imposing Medici walls and historic streets full of charm. A perfect stop for a panoramic coffee or lunch on the quayside.

In the afternoon, we resume sailing back to Piombino. The arrival is expected by the evening, with the final greetings and maybe already some ideas for the next outing.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Super relaxing holiday! I had a great time from every point of view: the boat was comfortable, clean and equipped, and the trip was exciting with beautiful views. A special thanks goes to the skipper, Josuah, always available, kind and attentive to every need of the group; has been able to create a serene and pleasant atmosphere for the duration of the holiday. It proved to be very professional and engaging. He helped us in the moment of common shopping by telling us the necessary things to buy and once we arrived on the boat he explained how it worked and how the organization would be. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to unplug and experience the sea in a unique and authentic way.
