This experience, in a nutshell

Boarding scheduled for Friday evening at the port of Talamone.

Once the cabins have been assigned and the luggage has been arranged, we will immediately go to make the galley for our days. Relaxing evening with an aperitif on board and dinner at one of the restaurants in the beautiful Maremma and then ending the evening on board, perhaps sipping a digestive all together.

Saturday morning wake up around 8 am, breakfast, weather/technical briefing and then start the preparations to face a wonderful day of sailing with related basic, theoretical and practical training with maneuvers at sea. Lunch break in one of the beautiful coves that the Argentario area offers.

After resting we will weigh anchor to resume our sailing along the Maremma coasts and between one maneuver and another return to port in the evening. Once the boat has been arranged and the maneuvers have been tidied up after a de briefing on the day spent, aperitif on board around the comfortable table of the boat. Dinner on the boat or at another trattoria in the area and then bedtime.

Sunday morning early wake-up, breakfast, weather/technical briefing and then set sail and in turn you will command the boat learning the basic gaits and adjustments. Lunch break in the roadstead in the wonderful Uccellina park. In the afternoon, the last sailing of refinement and then return to port for goodbyes.

Magical weekend on Giglio Island

10/20/2024

Altamir T.

Brazil

The boat trip to Giglio Island, in the Tuscan archipelago, exceeded all my expectations. The Luna Sul Mare sailboat is comfortable and safe. I have some experience with sailboats and as soon as I got on board I noticed the care of Captain Saverio D'Andrea in every detail to ensure well-being. All the equipment on the boat works well and the cleaning is rigorous. The tour started at the cozy marina of Talamone. The anchorage at Giglio was in the beautiful Cala dello Smeraldo, where I was able to enjoy swimming in the sea. The overnight stay was quiet in the gentle rocking of the protected waters. On the next stop the captain took us to Argentario, where I was able to enjoy another delicious swim in Cala Grande, before returning to Talamone. Saverio, in addition to providing a beautiful itinerary, was able to integrate and harmonize the coexistence of the group, which was always pleasant.
