The first time I ever went boating was in the Summer of 2008, where I spent 10 days sailing Corfu. That winter I decided to get my license to sail a boat and by the time Spring came along, I was a certified Skipper! I decided 5 years later in 2013 that I would live on the boat and spent four months sailing up and down the Adriatic, visiting the beautiful Venice. During the winter I would return back to my town and work as an architect, with four walls locking me in, eyes glued to my computer desktop. All I wanted in this moment was the sea. After a whole summer, in November 2014, Vittorio Malingri took me on an unusual Atlantic route. We were three people in total, missing the autopilot. The scent of the ocean was great sailing up to Santo Domingo for 15 days, with endless emotions. 1800nm between George’s banks, the Gulf stream, the Bermuda Triangle, coconut palms and beaches. Now winters and summers come back again, on and on and on… but I love it!
