Brief description of the holiday
Objective of the cruise : discover the riches of the Cotentin coast to the Goëlo coast.
Day 1 : reception between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Free evening in Cherbourg
Day 2 : Departure from Cherbourg destination Dielette, a former typical fishing village
Day 3 : Dielette / Chausey islands. You will discover the changing landscapes of Chausey and its multiple islets at ebb tide, its sandy beaches, its fauna and flora, without a car. Night at anchor.
Day 4 : Chausey Islands / Brehat Island 43 miles. The island of Brehat is particularly well preserved, classified as a remarkable site. You can walk there by taking the various hiking trails that crisscross the island to discover its nature and its rich history.
Day 5 : Ebihens archipelago. Less famous, the archipelago is a paradisiacal place, with its fine sandy beaches and small craggy coves, its beautiful local flora and fauna that must be preserved by only venturing on marked trails. Night at anchor
Day 6 : return to the Chausey Islands, to enjoy the sea, the beaches and prepare for the night navigation that will allow you to reach Cherbourg
Day 7 : In the early morning, arrival in Cherbourg. Rest or visit of the city for the bravest, before lunch at the quay and disembarkation around 2 p.m.
The stages of this cruise, which are often long, are given as an indication and will depend on the level of passengers and the weather.
DUFOUR 50 CLASSIC is a boat of 15m.
After sailed in the Caribbean, it has been moved to SAINT NAZAIRE and then CHERBOURG in May 2014.
The port is in deep water, which allows to be free of our movement. The boat can leave and return to port at any time. This specificity gives an appreciable freedom of navigation because most of the ports located in HIPS must cope with the tide. It has 10 berths with 3 double cabins and 4 bunks. But in order to be comfortable in navigation, the crew will not exceed 8 people.
it has a large sail and a genoa of 55 m2, a spinnaker of 200 m2, a solent. The electronic equipment ensures optimum safety: an AIS GPS radar, a fixed VHF, a RAYMARINE electronic control unit.
