Welcome on board!
In the heart of the Cyclades, the island of Paros is
the ideal place to begin your sailing holiday!
I will be delighted to welcome you on board my sailing yacht and
make you discover the wildness of this beautiful archipelago,
where the legends and the myths are flowing in the summer wind
"the Meltemi", which like a generous whisper fills our sails,
pushing us from island to island...
The cruise is a mix of real sailing (this means we love
sailing and we really use the sails as much as we can),
exploring wild anchorages and climbing to white and blue
villages, "chora", which dominates each and every inhabited
island.
The main advantage of starting from the island Paros is that most
neighbouring islands are reachable directly without having to tack
(zigzag in other words) which makes the rides shorter (2 to 4 hours
of sailing per day) in smoother, much less bumpy conditions.
Paros is a 4-hour ferry ride from Athens, 2 hours from Santorini
and 1 hour from Mykonos.
You will find more details about the program in the section "Extra
Informations".
Just over 50ft in length, my sailboat can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 double cabins, each one with its own en-suite bathroom. Unlike most other 50 footers, the Dufour 51 offers proper crew sleeping quarters for the skipper and crew, if any, which means you do not have to share your own bathroom with the skipper / crew.
