The holiday is aimed at discovering the north coast of the Island of Elba with its bays (for example Procchio, Biodola, Viticcio ) and its main towns ( Portoferraio, Marciana Marina ).
Depending on the weather and sea conditions and the crew's preferences, we will visit one or more harbors during the day and in the evening we could stay overnight at anchor or in one of the 2 tourist ports (Portoferraio or Marciana Marina).
The beauty of the sea and the coasts of Elba certainly need no introduction as attested by many of those I have hosted in the past for this type of cruise. Even the main towns that can be visited are attractive under various profiles: historical, artistic, gastronomic, scenic.
In the morning we will leave the port of Cecina for the island of Elba, where we will be able to visit one of the bays between Portoferraio and Marciana Marina.
The holiday will continue in the following days with excursions in the harbors until the last day of the cruise when we will go up the coast towards the Port of Cecina with the expected arrival between 6 and 8 pm.
Included in the fee:
Sheets, beach towels, bathroom towel sets. For the warmer periods, the boat is equipped with an air conditioner that we can use, for example, during the night when we will be moored in the port.
The sailboat has been designed with large interior spaces suitable for cruising and therefore is very comfortable and hospitable, having 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms. Even in rough seas, navigation is stable and fast both for sailing and for mixed sailing and motor sailing. In the warmer months you can also use an air conditioner that cools the dinette in a short time. Spaces in the cockpit and near the bow add usable space during navigation and mooring.

How do I get to the port of embarkation?
The port of Cecina can be reached by car by taking the Cecina Nord exit from the E-80 highway and following the signs for the port in via Guado alle Vacche. Alternatively, you can arrive by train at Cecina station and take the bus to Marina di Cecina and walk for a while to get to the port.
What can I bring on board?
It is preferable to carry your luggage in a soft bag. If there are children, it is advisable to bring a life jacket suitable for the age of the child. The jacket must be worn by the child during navigation periods.
How is the galley organized?
A few days before departure, the skipper will contact the crew members asking for information about food preferences and any intolerances. The skipper provides the galley the day before departure, anticipating the expense which will be documented at the end of the cruise.
What is the rate for the double cabin for single use?
The rate for the double cabin for single use is increased by 50% of the individual rate gross of any discounts for "Early Booking" reservations
Who cooks on board?
The skipper has a fair amount of cooking experience and therefore it will be his responsibility to prepare the meals eaten on board. It is clear that, as happened in the past, the help of someone on the crew who would like to provide it is appreciated.
Do I need to have sailing experience to participate?
It is not necessary to have sailing experience to participate. The type of navigation is largely coastal and in any case scrupulous attention to the weather and sea conditions is an essential requirement for the holiday we will have.
How will the experience take place in case of rain?
In this case we will decide together with the crew, without prejudice to the responsibility of the skipper for the safety of navigation. The determining factor always remains that of the sea conditions and the proposed holiday allows alternatives such as shore excursions to the indicated locations.
