I was pleasantly surprised by the level of care that Giancarlo and Nazzarena provided for me. I assumed that I'd be expected to work more, in the kitchen, for example, but they took care of everything. This was the first trip of the season and we had light winds, so the sailing was easy with plenty of time to contemplate life and explore the local towns, when in port.

It does not happen often to live a week on a sailing boat with skippers of such proven experience who know how to convey the passion is respect for the sea as well as a teaching ability acquired by sailing in all the seas of the world with over 300 thousand miles of navigation. Thanks to Giancarlo and Nazarena we were able to experience the sea as well as acquire new skills. Now that we are far away we also miss the "philosophical evenings" in front of a glass of wine in friendship retracing the mythical adventures of navigation around the world.
