This experience, in a nutshell

Our adventure begins by casting off the moorings from the Marina Dorica in Ancona, pointing the bow eastwards at the first light of dawn. The sea that is tinged with gold and the wind that swells the sails will be just the prelude to an unforgettable journey.

After about 10 hours of sailing, we will reach the first bay, where we can dive into the crystal clear waters of Croatia and enjoy an evening under an unparalleled starry sky, away from any source of light pollution.

In the following days we will alternate relaxation in the bays with sailing. If you wish, I will be happy to teach you the secrets of sailing only by the wind, an experience that gives you a sense of absolute freedom.

We will also have the opportunity to explore charming Croatian villages: ancient fishing villages that today offer the opportunity to stroll through picturesque alleys and savor typical dishes in a characteristic konoba.

And then... the spectacular Kornati Islands, unique in the Mediterranean! A natural park of rare beauty, where the white of the rocks bare of vegetation creates an incredible contrast with the intense blue of the sea.

Finally, we will resume the route to Ancona with our hearts full of emotions and the wind still on our skin, bringing with us indelible memories of an adventure that we will hardly forget.

📌 Note: The skipper will occupy a seat in the forward cabin or dinette.

Our itinerary

Our adventure begins by casting off the moorings from the Marina Dorica in Ancona, pointing the bow eastwards. After a splendid navigation on the high seas, we will reach our first destination: the island of Dugi Otok, one of the pearls of the Adriatic. Here we will stop in the picturesque bay of Veli Rat.

In the following days, we will continue sailing along the Croatian coast, sleeping at anchor in some of the most beautiful bays in the area, away from the hustle and bustle and surrounded by unspoiled nature.

Next, we'll point the bow south to reach Sali, a charming fishing village on the island of Dugi Otok.

One of the most exciting moments of the trip will be the entrance to the Kornati Islands National Park, a unique archipelago in the Mediterranean, characterized by breathtaking landscapes, white cliffs and turquoise waters. Sailing among these wild islands will be an unforgettable experience!

After days of sea, wind and unspoiled nature, we will head for Ancona, ending the journey with our hearts full of emotions and unforgettable memories.

What can I say... Simply an unforgettable experience, above all expectations! Our sailing holiday in the Kornati Islands in Croatia was a dream come true. Sailing with Francesca was the key to everything: an extraordinary skipper, whose love for the sea and navigation can be felt in every detail. Not only did he handle the boat with skill, but he was able to create such a positive and welcoming environment that we immediately felt at home. My partner Marco and I also really enjoyed his short and precious sailing lessons, whenever the wind allowed us to learn. The most beautiful thing was the magic that was created on board: although we didn't know anyone at the beginning, the sea, the sail, the galley and Francesca's expert guidance united our crew in a special bond. Thanks also go to Massimo, whose help was fundamental in all the maneuvers. This was not just a vacation, but an adventure that left us with precious memories and new friends. Definitely!
