This experience, in a nutshell

Come and discover the beautiful islands of the Cyclades by sail, with the girls!

Eva, a Franco-Greek professional skipper, has been sailing the Aegean Sea for more than 10 years. Passionate about sailing and holder of a Yacht Master, she knows each island of the Cyclades and their history. Vanessa will also be present on board; she has travelled the world alongside Sylvain aboard their sailboat.

During this week of sharing between women, you will be able to improve your skills as a woman sailor, or simply familiarize yourself with sailing, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

You will also discover the joys of life on board in the simplicity of sharing and good humor. During the stopovers, each island will surprise you with its landscapes, its paths, and its coves where the crystal clear water invites you to swim. Relaxation and a change of scenery guaranteed!

And in the evening, in the typical Greek taverns, you can enjoy the local specialties.

Objectives : To sail with the girls, to enjoy life on board, swimming and taverns and, according to each one's desires, to acquire or put into practice navigation knowledge.

Program : Sailing, anchorages, swimming, discovery of the islands and Greek taverns.

Sailing route : The itinerary for the week is discussed with the crew and decided by the skipper and the mate according to the weather. We discover one island per day, except in rare cases, when the weather does not allow it. Sailing time: 4h-5h/d

Requirements: Interest in sailing and good physical fitness. This cruise does not require any sailing skills, except for the desire to share a week with the girls aboard Sousouni in a friendly atmosphere.

Leg 1

Finikas, Syros, Greece

We welcome you at 5pm at the entrance of the pretty little port of Finikas on the island of Syros in the heart of the Cyclades. Discovery of the sailboat, installation on board the new crew, organization for provisioning and a short briefing on life on board.

Then, evening meal in a tavern to get to know each other. First night in this beautiful Greek setting.

Leg 2

Finikas, Syros-Naoussa, Paros

After our first breakfast on board, it is time to hoist the sails, heading for Paros. Nice navigation of about 3 hours which allows you to familiarize yourself with the sailboat. We arrive in the afternoon, in the beautiful bay of Naoussa north of Paros, where we anchor in the turquoise waters. Swimming in this idle setting and then visiting the very charming village of Noussa.

Leg 3

Naoussa-Koufounisia,

After a morning swim, we set sail for Koufounissia. Sailing between the islands of Naxos and Paros in order to reach the small Cyclades. Swimming in the crystal clear waters, walking along the coast, a fine sandy beach and a meal in a tavern on the port of this sublime little island.

We spend the night in this peaceful anchorage.

Leg 4

Koufounisia - Amorgos

And here we are on our way to the charismatic Amorgos!

The island of the Big Blue, famous for its majestic landscapes, its mountainside monastery and its pretty chora, allows us to discover the soul of the Cyclades. After an afternoon of walking and sightseeing, we had a meal in one of its typical taverns on the port.

Leg 5

Amorgos - Schinoussa

The adventure continues! We leave in the morning for Schinoussa, in the Small Cyclades. A beautiful 3-hour navigation awaits us. We make a stop at Kato Keiros, a small wild island for a swim (weather permitting). We will arrive in the afternoon in this charming little island. We can visit its beautiful Chora in the heights, which overlooks the sea. We will eat in a small typical tavern so that you can discover the local products.

Leg 6

Schinoussa-Antiparos

In the morning, we set sail for Antiparos, the peaceful little sister of Paros. We arrived there after a pleasant 3-4 hour navigation and anchored in a sublime and well-protected setting. Swimming, walking and discovering the very pretty little village where we will taste mezzes and other specialties in one of its taverns.

Leg 7

Antiparos - Finikas, Syros

Last day of sailing, we set sail, heading for Finikas. We arrive in the afternoon at our starting point. Then, free time to visit Ermoupli, beautiful Venetian city and capital of the Cyclades or just stroll on the surrounding beaches.

In the evening, we have our last meal together in a tavern by the sea or on board the boat.

Disembarkation at Finikas, Syros.

After a night and breakfast, it's time to say goodbye, with beautiful memories in your head. Disembarkation is scheduled for 09:00.

Wonderful week of sailing in the Cyclades. Sylvain has all the qualities for such a course: both an excellent sailor who knows the conditions specific to the Cyclades, he is also a great teacher and allows each participant to feel at ease. Although demanding and sporty, this week also offered us very nice visits and swimming in idyllic places. A big thank you! Marlyse and Guy

Great experience on this boat with a cruise in the small Cyclades. We visited several islands, all of which were lovely. The company was great and the skipper professional and helpful. The only thing I can suggest as an improvement is to spend a little more time visiting beaches around the islands instead of sailing directly to the ports of call. Overall it was a more than positive experience.

Superb week with Sylvain. Professional skipper who puts you at ease and explains everything to you. It takes you to beautiful anchorages and we sailed down the small cyclades quickly. The boat is very comfortable and very nice to sail even when the wind is above 30 knots. I recommend Sylvain for your next adventure!
