Zakynthos is a well-known and popular tourist destination, with a pleasant pedestrian promenade in the centre. The island offers many sites of interest, including the Venetian castle that dominates the city and numerous churches and monasteries. The medieval fortified port of Nafpaktos, the ancient Lepanto, is dominated by a castle with five walls that are gradually smaller and more powerful. From the beautiful village of Galaxidi in an hour by taxi you can reach the famous oracle of Delphi with the rich archaeological museum. Near the new Corinth stands the ancient Greek city and in two hours also Mycenae, with the famous Lions' Gate. The Acropolis and the fantastic museums of Athens are unmissable testimony to an immense culture from which we all descend.

However, there is no shortage of beaches and magnificent bays where you can anchor for a night. A particular emotion will be passing through the famous Canal, between two high vertical banks cut into the sandstone (toll of about € 280 charged to the common fund).
