This experience, in a nutshell

Each island has a different story to tell: starting from Elba we will sail to discover an enchanted world.

Elba: There is no Mediterranean civilization that has not left a trace of its passage, Nature, Art and Culture enclosed in 224kmq, unique atmospheres, extraordinary scenarios, the result of encounters between different peoples, make this Island unique and Fantastic.

Capraia: only 10 mg from Corsica remains the farthest island from the Tuscan coast, unspoiled nature, still today presents itself in its beauty, with extraordinary smells and colors that make this island the third largest of the Archipelago, the most interesting from a naturalistic point of view.

You don't need any experience to get on board, but if you want to take advantage of your sailing holidays to learn the basics of sailing, or try your hand at maneuvers, I will be happy to teach and pass on my great passion for sailing. The formula is that of the cruise-sailing school, suitable for those who want a sporting holiday and for those looking only for relaxation.

Day 1 - San Vincenzo / Gulf of Baratti
We will meet at the port of San Vincenzo at 4 pm, where we will arrange the luggage and food. After a short briefing, we will be ready to set sail and head for the Gulf of Baratti. Under the Castle of Populonia where we will spend the first night in the harbor.

Day 2 - Gulf of Baratti / Porto Azzurro After a dip and a nice breakfast, we will reach Elba. We will spend the afternoon at anchor in the Ortano cove and then reach Porto Azzurro where we will spend the night.

Day 3 - Porto Azzurro / Lacona
When we wake up we will leave for Lacona. This gulf represents one of the most beautiful frames in the incredible panorama of the Island of Elba. We will spend the day between baths, sun and fun. We will spend the night in the harbor under a dome of stars.

Day 4 - Lacona / Fetovaia
We will go to dive in the splendid waters of Fetovaia, one of the most evocative beaches of the island, in the name of relaxation.

Day 5 - Fetovaia / Sant'Andrea
The morning after a nice breakfast and a swim we will sail along the west coast of Elba. Once in Pomonte, equipped with fins, mask and snorkel, we will go to the discovery of the wreck of the Elviscot, a 90 m Italian merchant ship en route between Naples and Marseille which, due to a failure at the rudder, collides and sinks near of the rock of Ogliera. After snorkeling, we will head towards Sant'Andrea, where it will be possible to go down with the tender for an aperitif.

Day 6 - Sant'Andrea / Capraia
We will set sail for Capraia, once the sails have been hoisted, here, both for sailing lovers and for newbies, we would never stop sailing: the colors, the scents, the wind, the salty splashes of the deep blue sea make you feel like a true deep sea sailor. It will take us about 4 hours to reach the island, we will spend the night in Porto in Capraia "Town"

Day 7 - Capraia / San Vincenzo
After a lunch in the fantastic setting of Cala Rossa, the crew will be ready to sail our boat in semi autonomy. Sailing we will head towards the port in San Vincenzo.

Northern Corsica: the sailing wonder!

09/2/2023

Barbara M.

The holiday was not up to the lavish expense (1039 + galley + ports) and the behavior of the skipper was unacceptable: I was attacked with swear words on the third day stopped in port for having asked for information on what to do. Arriving on the first evening, the skipper informs you that due to the weather you are not going to North Corsica. We think for the first few days, then the weather improves and yet we stay between the south-east of Elba and Capraia. He could make up for it by having us do numerous coves a day or the entire Tuscan coast, but the skipper didn't want to do much, he often slept or stayed in a room with his escort. I've never seen a skipper who takes the best room in the bow for himself, letting the payers sleep outside because of the heat, or in the dinette, since the rooms at the stern were hot and noisy. The roadstead holiday was therefore more in port. Never done so few boat baths. Finally, the indicated age for which I had chosen the 30-50 trip was fake, it was 41-68.

Simply extraordinary, a connoisseur of the places, the wind, the sea. But there is something greater than the sea, which few have: a beautiful Soul. And that of Francis shines through in every gesture, in every smile, in every silence listening to his wind. Thank you for everything Conandante.

Francesco is a sociable person, prepared, he makes you passionate about his work. As far as Sardinia and Corsica are concerned, there are no words but ONLY EMOTIONS.
