From the A2 motorway (Autostrada del Mediterraneo, formerly A3) you can reach Agropoli by exiting at Battipaglia or Salerno and continuing along the SS18 in a south-westerly direction; alternative routes from the coast follow the SS18/SS18var and the provincial roads that connect the coastal municipalities; the approximate travel times are: from Salerno about 30-45 minutes, from Naples about 1 h 15 min-1 h 40 min and from Rome about 3 h 30 min-4 h, depending on traffic and the chosen route.

The nearest station is Agropoli-Castellabate, on the Naples-Reggio Calabria railway line; the station is served by regional trains from Salerno and Naples and by some medium-distance connections; the Salerno-Agropoli connection takes about 25-40 minutes by regional train, Naples-Agropoli about 1 h 10 min-1 h 30 min including any changes in Salerno; high-speed trains stop in Salerno, from which it is possible to continue with regional or local service; From the station to the city center the distance is a few kilometers, with taxi rides and local bus services for the last stretch.
