This experience, in a nutshell

Sail along the Andalusian coast to Gibraltar rounding the famous Cape of Punta Europa.

I would be happy to teach the art and pleasure of sailing, of living under sail... I am a skipper with long experience having crossed the Atlantic Ocean twenty times and also the Pacific is the Indian with a round-the-world race.

We will stop at Marbella Estepona Gibraltar (The Line).

Our itinerary

Departure from Fuengirola on the same day of boarding. First stop Marbella, a very fashionable place for a good evening ... Wanting... However, the old town is definitely worth a visit. Then we proceed to Estepona where you can also stay at anchor if there is not too long wave, otherwise we enter one of the most beautiful marinas on the Andalusian coast Marina del Mediterraneo.

Then we will have to choose the best time to pass Punta Europa, it will depend not only on the wind but also on the strong tidal current. Weather permitting, we can spend a night at anchor with the spectacular view of the Rock of Gibraltar. The next day we enter the marina for a day of stop to visit Gibraltar. Then return to Fuengirola direct or with a stop if we have time.

I was pleasantly surprised by the level of care that Giancarlo and Nazzarena provided for me. I assumed that I'd be expected to work more, in the kitchen, for example, but they took care of everything. This was the first trip of the season and we had light winds, so the sailing was easy with plenty of time to contemplate life and explore the local towns, when in port.

It does not happen often to live a week on a sailing boat with skippers of such proven experience who know how to convey the passion is respect for the sea as well as a teaching ability acquired by sailing in all the seas of the world with over 300 thousand miles of navigation. Thanks to Giancarlo and Nazarena we were able to experience the sea as well as acquire new skills. Now that we are far away we also miss the "philosophical evenings" in front of a glass of wine in friendship retracing the mythical adventures of navigation around the world. We recommend reading Giancarlo's book a must for those of us who love sailing. Thanks for care Giancarlo and Nazarena soon we will be back with you for new adventures. Ester and Stefano

This is not a cruise, it is a transformative journey. Giancarlo is a master of the sea and of life. If you are interested in learning how to live, and sailing, this will be the best experience you will ever find. Giancarlo for me was a well of knowledge, a master and a ledger of travels, experiences and anecdotes. I have learned a lot, on various points of view. Giancralo, if you let yourself be guided, will transport you into his world showing you the meaning of living sailing. Again, thank you captain.
