Our itinerary

Our trip starts here:

Corfu.

Check-in: 3:00 PM

Our trip ends here:

Corfu.

Check-out: 7:00 AM

Leg 1

Saturday: Embarkation from Corfu

Meeting with skipper from 15:00 while boarding is scheduled in the late afternoon from 17:00. Our base is Corfu, one of the largest islands of the Archipelago. It is a curious mix of Italian architecture (narrow and cobbled streets), English (the main square has a typical colonnade with a huge green lawn) and Hellenic architecture. The Venetian citadel is really worth a visit. The result of the meeting of different cultures and tastes gives the town a lively and cosmopolitan aspect and a bit of social life. After organizing the galley and boarding, depending on the weather, we will set sail to a nearby bay to spend the first night under the stars.

Leg 2

Domenica: Paxos/Lakka

Breakfast and a relaxing swim and then we set sail for Paxos/Lakka. Paxos is very small. It is only 8 km long and 3 km wide. It is a grain of an island covered with groves of olive trees. The capital of the island is Gàios, a lively and colorful village by the sea, which reveals itself to the eyes at the end of an atmospheric fjord that winds between the mainland and the two islets Agios Nikolaos and Panagia that are immediately opposite. And then there's Lakka. The Greek village par excellence. In the bay, where the sea is a blue that cannot be explained, half a meter from the water. We will stop at Lakka at anchor for the night.

Leg 3

Lunedì: Panaya/Gaios

Here you are awakened in the Lakka Pool, ready to explore Paxos. Sailing, Swimming and Relaxing and another picturesque place in Ionian Greece: Panaya you can go ashore to visit the lighthouse, Agios Nikolaos you can take a shore excursion to the Fort and then Gaios its colors, its transparent seabed and coves, will offer another fantastic day to spend in these seas. Dinner under the stars and midnight swim.

Leg 4

Tuesday: Mongonisi/Antipaxsos

Mongonisi and Antipaxsos And we arrived in Mongonisi and then again in Antipaxos, a wonder! Its waters are a blue that fades into bright blue and the location is natural, especially when the sun's rays fall perpendicularly, increasing the chromatic effect even more. If the hypothesis is to stay at sea and circumnavigate the island, then many paradisiacal coves and pristine white beaches await you for unforgettable swims! The evenings during the sailing cruise will be pleasant and to the rhythm of sirtaki.

Leg 5

Mercoledì: Parga

Parga, a beautiful sail of about 25 miles (about 4 hours of navigation) and we find Parga, another stop along the coast that is worth visiting. Beautiful seas and rocks that fall until they touch the water. Hidden bays with sea-green seabeds invite us to dive and scan the seabed, and then stop and enjoy the evening on the boat, with the colors of the sunset.

Leg 6

Thursday: Sivota

Sivota. We sail along the coast to continue our route and reach Sivota stopping in coves with crystal clear waters, to enjoy a lunch on board between one dive and another. The evening is free to visit the port and the bars along the pier, a meeting place for many tourists. Dinner on board or at the port and overnight stay at anchor.

Leg 7

Venerate: Guvia/Kerkira/ Corfù

Breakfast and after a relaxing swim we set sail towards Corfu. From the seaside, Corfu is an island with gentle profiles with beautiful coastlines, alternating white beaches with picturesque hidden coves. After the afternoon to discover one of these bays we will go to Marina di Guvia where we will moor and after a shower we are ready for our final evening in Kerkira for a good dinner in a traditional tavern and then a walk in its historic center. Night on the boat.

Leg 8

Saturday: Corfu

Breakfast and disembarkation but with a lot of Greece... or rather with a Big Fat Sail in Greece!! Note: This itinerary may be subject to change due to weather conditions

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Destination

Magical Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia and Procida by Catamaran

09/15/2024

GIANLORENZO C.

AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED. Bad communication with Sailsquare, which never answers the phone. Reception on arrival at the marina quite poor. Boat with very uncomfortable bathrooms and cabins, only the large and comfortable living area. Boat with obvious maintenance deficiencies: an engine that broke down on the first day (repaired after several hours of waiting), a decidedly dead battery, with the need to constantly resort to parallel to start the engine. A non-homogeneous group (two Italian couples and two English speaking couples), with a professionally trained (Italian) skipper, but who spoke almost only English. The destination is beautiful (both the islands and the Amalfi Coast), but structured in a real fraudulent industry aimed at plucking tourists: in Amalfi an evening in the port 450 Euros, of course without invoice. In Procida 230 Euros, with a ridiculous invoice, without the number of the holder, of the issuer (false, therefore). In Capri a buoy (illegal) outside the port 150 Euros, naturally in black. Figures that in the civilized world would be staggering, even higher than those of the port of Saint Tropez. Where are the Law, the Coast Guard that would have supervisory duties, the Guardia di Finanza? Not to mention the restaurants: a plate of spaghetti with clams costs 30 Euros, while in Santa Magherita Ligure, where I live and which is certainly not a cheap destination, it costs 19 Euros. Never again!!!!

Sailing, Relaxation and Fun in the Pontine and Phlegraean Islands on a 15-meter Boat

The expectations of a sailing holiday were not met as there was never the opportunity to raise the mainsail as only the last one, after the insistence of the crew, they tried to raise the mainsail but without success as it was poorly rigged. Which, by the way, was reported at the departure having had the opportunity to read the previous reviews, so this inconvenience added to the boat delivered dirty and with refrigerators working halfway due to a battery life problem and never reported except during the cruise. Organizer certainly not able to satisfy such an experience, so overall the judgment is certainly disappointing
