Welcome aboard CrazySail Academy Lite!

CrazySail Academy Lite is a one-day course aimed at newly-licensed skippers or sailing enthusiasts who are considering becoming a skipper in the fantastic world of fleets. CrazySail Academy Lite is the youngest daughter of our CrazySail Academy and is, on the one hand, an opportunity to put oneself to the test in a protected environment without undergoing immediately the pressure due to the responsibility of having one's own crew, and on the other , the opportunity to come and meet our family of CrazySail Skippers and Staff.

The course will be held by one of our most experienced skippers and will be focused on the management of a non-expert crew through exercises of different maneuvers in the field. You will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the actual running of a boat from planning a maneuver, to communication techniques with your crew, up to the execution of the maneuver itself. In addition to the practical side of running a boat, our instructor will expose you to the procedures and standard checks that must be carried out by a boat owner for safe navigation without surprises.

Targets
The objectives are mainly three:
1. Give a first smattering of practical and theoretical knowledge regarding safe maneuvers and possible unexpected events.
2. Introduce the participants to the correct management of every kind of crew, from the expert ones to those who have never boarded a sailboat.
3. Allow participants to learn about the CrazySail family

Skipper for CrazySail
For those who remained enthusiastic and wanted to continue their training with us, we offer our CrazySail Academy during the year. These are intensive flotilla maneuver courses with RYA and FIV instructors, at the end of which you have the opportunity to pass a proficiency exam and come to work as a Skipper CrazySail.

Where and when?
CrazySail Academy Lite will be held on Lake Garda, a place renowned in the world of sailing for its spectacular wind and its breathtaking views. We will depart in the morning at 9.00 from Fraglia Vela Riva in Riva Del Garda and will return in the evening at 6.30pm.

How much?
The Educational Manual and the Lunch are included in the Participation Fee. Travel costs and the mandatory 10 € insurance fee are not included.

Program
9.00am: Arrival in Fraglia Vela Riva (Riva del Garda), embarkation and initial presentation
9:30 am: Notes on safety briefing, unmooring maneuvers and then departure from the port.
h 10:00: Sailing to Val di Sogno, sailing maneuver practices and crew management.
1:00 pm: Arrival in Val di Sogno and lunch break.
14:00 h: Practice taken at the buoy
2.30 pm: Navigation towards Limone del Garda
16:00 h: Practice landing on the quay in Limone del Garda
4.30pm: Navigation to Fraglia Vela Riva
6:00 pm: Practice landing in port
6.30pm: Landing and optional aperitif
