A sailing holiday is not a holiday like any other, especially if made in the Aeolian Islands.
Here you will find a perfect mix of relaxation, fun, breathtaking landscapes, trekking and nightlife.
UNESCO heritage and Terra dei Vulcani, few archipelagos are like the Aeolian Islands .
Within a few miles there are seven islands each with different characteristics.
In a week it will be possible to visit them all avoiding long sailing routes.
We will visit all the islands of the Archipelago making the most of sailing and taking baths in the most beautiful bays that can only be reached from the sea.
You will know the typical Aeolian cuisine and the uses and customs of its inhabitants.
During navigation, basic sailing notions will be provided.
Those who love the seabed will have the opportunity to snorkel, while for nature lovers there will be the opportunity to go trekking reaching the volcanic craters of the islands.
SATURDAY
After making the galley I will make a briefing explaining how to behave on board and giving useful advice to better spend the week. We will head for Vulcano where we will spend the first night at anchor in front of the lonely beach of Gelso.
SUNDAY
In Vulcano you can take a bath in the sulphurous mud or climb to the top of the crater. In the early afternoon we will head towards the White Beaches (Lipari). After a nice swim we will head for Panarea where we will spend the night at anchor.
MONDAY'
Between Basiluzzo, Lisca Bianca and Dattilo we will take a nice bath and have lunch in total tranquility. Continuing east we can admire Stromboli and its volcanic explosions directly from the sea.
TUESDAY As soon as we set sail we will head towards Strombolicchio. We will take an unforgettable bath drifting in an intense blue sea. We will head to Salina and to lighten the crossing we will anchor in Panarea in front of the bay of Cala Junco, a lovely cove where a few steps away are the remains of a prehistoric Bronze Age village. Salina is the highest and most typically Mediterranean island. Santa Marina Salina is the main town where we will spend the night. The stop at Alfredo is a must, where you can taste the "pane cunzatu" and the "granita con brioche".
WEDNESDAY'
We will visit Pollara, with a high and impressive white rock wall behind it, once part of an extinct crater. Not far away, a large cliff and a splendid natural arch make this area even more fascinating. We will then move to Filicudi, a fascinating and wild island ideal for a quiet evening under a starry sky. We will spend the night in Pecorini Mare where we will have the opportunity to have an aperitif at the Saloon based on music and fresh fish in an environment of islanders and sailors.
THURSDAY'
Circumnavigating the island we will stop at the Grotta del Bue Marino. Not far away, the Canna rises from the sea like an obelisk, the very high rock (85mt) of volcanic origin. Being offshore here the water is always clear and crystal clear, and a nice swim is a must. In the early afternoon we will head to Lipari.
In summer, tourists invade the streets of the center animated by several outdoor venues with live music, boutiques and various clubs. Also in Lipari it is possible to visit the regional Aeolian archaeological museum
FRIDAY'
In the morning we will set sail towards Vulcano and circumnavigating the island we will admire the promontory with black points of lava stone, the Horse cave and finally the pools of Venus for a truly unforgettable bath. In the early afternoon we will be back in Milazzo. Here we will be able to admire the promontory of the Capo di Milazzo recently protected marine area. We will spend the last night moored at the pier where we will have the opportunity to go down, have dinner together in a small restaurant in the center and discuss our fantastic experience.
SATURDAY
Well yes! Our fantastic experience ends here and with much nostalgia we will have to say goodbye.
