This experience, in a nutshell

A part of Greece that none of us is used to seeing: the classic white houses with blue window shutters, the various Chora, the windmills ... well ... forget them! This is a very different Greece, sometimes wild and not yet touched by mass tourism and incredibly beautiful.

The Sporades Islands , which dot the northern Aegean, are still a destination to discover for many passionate sailors. Those who decide to embark for Skiathos , Alonissos , Skopelos and Skyros , will soon discover that these places have little to envy to the most famous Cyclades and that two weeks are hardly necessary to explore this paradise.

It is an archipelago of eleven islands and islets that were once joined to the continent, as suggested by their proximity to the coasts of Evia and Pelion.

The islands share with the Greek mainland the climatic conditions, which make them green; their profile is adorned with rich pine forests that often extend to the coasts, and also marked by the many mountain ranges. In the Sporades there are also some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Greek island system.

Equally fascinating is the discovery of the coasts of Chalkidiki, to which we will dedicate a few days of navigation. Three tongues of land that stretch in the northern Aegean, known for their crystalline sea and for the history and traditions they preserve. It is here that Mount Athos rises with its famous monastery.

Even the coast of the Sytonia peninsula, up to its end, on the Nikiti side, offers many possibilities for anchoring, especially in the section from Neos Marmaras to the beautiful gulf of Porto Koufos ; almost nothing here the presence of boats, with an incomparable peace for the heart and brain eyes.

Arrived in Vourvourou , there is only the embarrassment of the choice on where to throw the anchor. The island of Diaporos offers one of the most beautiful anchorages in Greece! Truly a dream ..... The Lagonisi bay also offers a wonderful and well sheltered anchorage, and the list of wonders is still long.
