This experience, in a nutshell

An 8-day journey along Euboea awaits you to reach Skiathos and the Sporades, the most lush islands in Greece. A boat trip made of adventure and the desire to explore places of rare beauty and far from mass tourism. Embarkation in Lavrio (Athens), disembarkation in Skiathos.

We have been sailing in the Mediterranean for several years, we love the bays with very few boats, the long swims exploring the seabed, the gentle afternoon sailing, the aperitifs at sunset and the warm welcome of the Greeks!

Our weeks on a sailing boat have a very relaxing pace with 2/3 hours of sailing a day: in the morning Luciana prepares a rich breakfast and after coffee we leave to drop anchor in a beautiful bay where we can swim, snorkel or lie in the sun on the comfortable cushions at the bow reading a book or simply enjoying the wonderful view.

For lunch we usually choose a different bay, a dip and we will be ready to enjoy a light and tasty meal in the cockpit perhaps accompanied by a good fresh wine! In the afternoon, wind permitting, we set sail and everyone participates in the maneuvers. It's a great way to get some sport and learn how to sail. Before sunset we usually dock in a small port on one of the islands on our itinerary.

The villages of the Greek islands are always great to visit, and the Greek tavernas serve delicious and cheap food. With the right conditions we will also sleep in a quiet and sheltered bay... Aperitif at sunset and dinner under the stars! ✨

The days are never the same during a sailing holiday, there is always something interesting to visit: a temple, an ancient settlement, sometimes a scenic walk, a monastery with a spectacular view, a particularly renowned tavern or the charming ancient cities (chora), labyrinths of alleys and blindingly white houses!

It's hard to get bored but everyone can choose their own pace and maybe enjoy total laziness!

THE BOAT OF YOUR DREAMS: A JEANNEAU 54 DS, 17 meters of luxury, on a cruise that combines sailing holidays with sailing, swimming stops in the most beautiful bays and visits to historical places and temples.

A safe boat equipped for offshore navigation and at the same time comfortable and livable.

Sun cushions, hydraulic gangway, 220 power generator, tender with outboard to go down to the beach. Two air-conditioned guest cabins, each with bathroom with electric toilet; 1 cabin with bunk beds for children.

Professional crew, Mediterranean cuisine and hotel-level service. An unforgettable trip! It's a fantastic way to relax and learn how to sail, Renato will be happy to let you at the helm and teach you the perfect jib and mainsail adjustment!

Our itinerary

From the Olympic marina of Lavrio (Athens) we go up the Evia channel to a beautiful bay to the south, where we stop for the night. The next morning we headed to Skyros, the island of ceramics (where we can taste excellent lobsters) and the next day again north to reach the wild Skantzoura and spend the night in a deserted bay.

On Wednesday a long upwind takes us to a deserted island, Adelfi, and then arrive in Alonissos, where we will find a lively marina.

On Thursday it will be the turn of Skopelos and its beautiful bays, while on Friday afternoon we will finally arrive in Skiathos where we can do some shopping in preparation for the landing on Saturday morning.

Had a wonderful time sailing with Renato and Luciana on their 54 Jenneau sail boat "Lulu"! The boat is very comfortable and sea kindly and Renato is an expert captain and "Lulu" a fantastic chef meals onboard were delishious! They know the best ports harbors and bays for swimming and sightseeing ashore. It was a great vacation plus sailing vacation very highly recommended and would definitely go again!

From Kos to SANTORINI and IOS to discover all the Cyclades with a luxury boat - hostess/chef on board

Unique experience, with two professionals of the sea. The sailing holiday always reserves many adventures and unlike many other experiences it relies heavily on the sensitivity of the skipper to define the daily program based on the weather forecast. Renato, with his vast experience, managed to bring out the best out of the week, making us explore extraordinarily beautiful places. Lulú seasoned everything with style and attention to detail, delighting us with his excellent cuisine. The boat is gorgeous, spotless and reliable! Highly recommended.

Beautiful boat, really well cared for. Each destination was successfully reached and each location was an interesting dock and place to visit. Excellent meals on board. Perfect cleanliness. Great tips for eating on dry land. I deliberately chose the "sailor's cabin" that I found fun and equipped. Physical agility required to take advantage of it. Too bad too hot in the afternoon for me that I'm used to rest. I had my own little fan for the night . Due to its location in the bow, it grants privacy. Impacting the impatience of the captain during maneuvers or practical activities on board. At first it made me feel out of place but after a clarification, we settled down. It can be hard for some owners to relate even with indolent guests on vacation but I seek relaxation and travel experiences. However, I would leave immediately on Lulu boat with Luciana and Renato, Silvia Michele Antonio and Paolo, TOP holiday companions

++wild bays visited ++food on the boat boat ++beautiful, ++maintained and ++comfortable +treated like private guests -not like paying customers -every act (wake up, breakfast, swimming, changing back to dry clothes, smoking..) was strictly timed. Without ANY obvious reason (plenty of time to sail to the next point) -6 sailing days booked. In total only 3 hours on sail, the rest on motor (no wind when we were out) & 2 days spent in harbors because the wind could be too strong. No effort made when noticed that we could have have (sportively) sailed. Frustrating to see sailing boats offshore while being on a beach/village -communication rather existent. When R. feels challenged by a question, he overreacts (Ex: by leaving the commands of the boat to us because we dared to ask if we could use sails instead of motor OR by calling us "new rich people" when we asked for the final count for the EUR 400 pp for the current expenses.) -age 48?!? -no instruction -feeling to be at the wrong place -------- SKIPPER ANSWER ------------- Dear Frederic, We are sorry that your first boat experience did not meet your expectations. On the boat there are rules to be respected regarding smoking (unthinkable to smoke while sailing and in the cabin!), order and cleanliness so that everyone is comfortable. The itinerary you have chosen (From Athens to Kos) is an adventurous choice for those who love to travel many miles. Unfortunately the wind cannot be booked and when it is too strong for safety reasons we stop. Sailing cannot be learned in a week and neither can education. Leave the cabin in the shameful condition in which you left it (literally throw away sheets) and then ask for the final report, which, as you were told, can be consulted at any time and available to everyone (with receipts and invoices) on the table from correspondence, two days after finishing the cruise, it is incomprehensible. It was not a pleasant experience for us.
