This experience, in a nutshell

Come with us to discover the Lesser Antilles, you will be involved in a fantastic experience that will take you through the bays and enchanted islands of the Caribbean, sailing from Guadeloupe to its incredible South. A cruise that will take you to explore the unspoiled and unexplored corners of the Caribbean at a slow and relaxing pace, heading towards Les Santes, Marie Galante, Desirade and Le Petit Terrè to sail port after port at a Creolè pace.

Embarkation and disembarkation from Guadeloupe with its incredible southern archipelago, a jewel of the French Antilles, will be a way to immerse yourself, right away, in this tropical paradise where nature expresses itself in all its magnificence.

The islands of Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre, joined to form the silhouette of a butterfly, offer breathtaking scenery and incredible contrast, the first being mountainous and lush, dominated by the Soufrière volcano and the rainforest; the second is flat with long beaches of white and golden sand,

Marie-Galante and the Îles des Saintes complete this idyllic picture with their transparent waters and rich biodiversity. Good winds to everyone in these Caribbean seas.

Pointe-à-Pitre (Grande-Terre, Guadeloupe).

Leg 1

27 December - Pointe à Pitre

Arrival at Pointe à Pitre International Airport and transfer to the Marina in Pointe à Pitre. Accommodation in the Catamaran, organization of galley and breafing with our expert sailing coordinator. In the evening we sleep on a catamaran in the Marina at Pointe à Pitre.

Leg 2

28/29 December - Marie Galante

Breakfast and ready to set sail for the Island of Marie Galante, the island of a hundred mills, is the third

by extension between the islands of the French Antilles, with an area of 158 km2. 30 km from Guadeloupe, it is almost a round with rolling hills (its highest point is 204 meters) and offers extraordinary landscapes. The north coast is characterized by high cliffs and a quarter of the northern region is separated from the rest of the island by a deep fault.

Leg 3

30/31 Dec-1 January-Les Saint

Breakfast and after a relaxing swim we will set sail for Les Saint, consisting of 9 islands discovered by Christopher Columbus on November 4, 1493, it is now known all over the world for its beautiful
bay of Anse du Bourg which resembles a small Rio on its Pain de Sucre,
considered the third bay in the world for its beauty. Here we will spend two nights and celebrate New Year's Eve 2027 in a unique landscape of sea and nature. There are many corners of paradise that this small archipelago offers us from the Pain de Sucre, a small bay with coconut palms and crystal clear water, ideal for snorkelling in Pompierre which is protected from the Atlantic by the Ilet Roche Percées la Plage de
Firefighter with its pale sand bordered by palm trees.

Leg 4

2/3 January - Dominica

After lunch, you will head south to the island of La Dominique, where you will arrive at sunset. The catamaran will drop anchor in Prince Rupert Bay, near the town of Portsmouth and Fort Shirley. After a walk on land, you can have dinner and spend the night at anchor. Nicknamed the "Island of Nature", Dominica is one of the most pristine islands in the Caribbean archipelago. You can opt for a guided hike (*optional at an additional cost of €30/person) along the Indian River, surrounded by lush greenery. Dinner and overnight at anchor in the south of Dominica.

Leg 5

3/4/5 January Basse-Terre

Morning departure from La Dominique heading north to reach the west coast of Guadeloupe. After lunch in the shelter of the main island, you will arrive at the Pigeon Îlets after a beautiful seven-hour sail. Located in the municipality of Bouillante, 1100 meters from the coast of Basse-Terre, facing Malendure beach, these two islets are recognized as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. Dinner and overnight at anchor.

Leg 6

6 January - L'ilet Gosier

By now with relaxed and quiet rhythms we will spend the day snorkeling and swimming heading for the nearby L'ilet Gosier. We will anchor in the Bay and reach the atoll in 5 minutes by tender, departing from the beach of the village. On the Ilet there is a snack restaurant

Great for Creole lunch. First afternoon set sail for a sail that will take us board after board to our port of departure, Pointe è Pitre where after

relaxation and shower we will spend the last evening together.

Leg 7

January 7 - Pointe à Pitre

Breakfast and disembarkation by 9 am .... now full and satiated of this Caribbean holiday but already thinking about the next adventure. For those departing on the same day, international flights are from 5 pm, so you can leave your soft luggage on the basis and enjoy the beautiful beaches nearby until lunchtime.

Nice itinerary, catamaran comfortable enough and Salvatore was a great skipper. Very professional, scrupulous and attentive to make us live a good experience but always keeping safety first. He was also very helpful in trying to accommodate our wishes and offering us more and more options along the way. Impeccable organization by Marianna who does not leave out any detail and is very present.

The catamaran was dirty, poorly maintained and lacking proper maintenance. Definitely below the standard for services of this kind. Perhaps it is no coincidence that we were left without an engine, fortunately on the last day. Part of the ground staff of Spartivento inadequate and rude.
