From Livorno take the SS1 Aurelia northbound for about 15-20 km (time 20-30 min). From Rome, take the A12/E80 northbound, exit for Pisa and follow the coastal road towards Marina di Pisa; The distance is about 280 km with a travel time of around 3 hours.

The reference station is Pisa Centrale, served by the Florence-Pisa-Livorno line and regional connections to the coast; the journey from Florence SMN takes approximately 50-60 minutes and from Livorno 15-20 minutes; Pisa San Rossore station is used for some regional stops and is closer to the seafront than Pisa Centrale; from the railway junction continue by local bus or taxi for the approximately 10-12 km that separate the station from Marina di Pisa (road transfer time 20-30 minutes).

The nearest airport is Pisa Galileo Galilei (PSA), located a short distance from the city: the road transfer to Marina di Pisa is about 12 km with average times of 15-25 minutes by taxi, airport bus or rental car; alternatively, Florence-Peretola Airport (FLR) is about 80 km away with combined train/car or road transfers of about 1-1.5 hours.
