This experience, in a nutshell

This is an ocean sailing passage designed to deepen your seamanship and sharpen your human senses in an age increasingly shaped by technology and automation. While modern tools are useful, we believe the heart of sailing lies in human technique, intuition, and connection with the sea.

This is not a sailing school and we do not issue diplomas of any kind. However, we are happy to share knowledge and insights gained from many years at sea. Whether you’re working towards your own certifications or simply wish to become a more confident offshore sailor, we can help you organize and refine your skills through hands-on experience.

Expect to be fully involved in life onboard—from watchkeeping and sail handling to navigation and provisioning—according to your abilities. You will always be supported throughout the journey, with the aim of growing both as a sailor and as a crew member.

Looking forward to sailing with you!

About this Passage

This leg is part of a longer seasonal sailing program for 2025 and represents Stage #2 of our Atlantic route. It takes us from the Azores to the Canary Islands, with a possible stop in Madeira depending on weather conditions. This passage includes around 900 nautical miles and typically lasts 10 days.

It is a one-way ocean sailing experience, open to sailors eager to challenge themselves and live the rhythm of long-distance cruising. While each passage is independent and open to individual booking, many of our crew members choose to join us for multiple legs throughout the season.

Very nice week in the Westfords, an experienced and vigilant captain, a very comfortable and maneuverable boat, an excellent international atmosphere. A weather sometimes capricious, but this navigation on the wild coast offers magnificent landscapes with very beautiful lights in function of the hour and beautiful hikes.

Stephane is not only an outstanding sailing master, but he is a truly nice and interesting person, a lovely shipowner who makes you feel at home since from the very first beginning. He is very attentive to the needs of his crew, and able to transmit its passion for sailing and life at sea. And he has a wonderful boat, seaworthy and fast, and not just because is a Baltic (already a guarantee in terms of quality and safety) but thanks to the way and love Stephane takes care of it. It's very spacious and confortable with amenities of all kind. I spent more than 2 weeks with him and his friendly crew and was one of the best sailing trip I have ever done (and luckily I had many). We sailed more than 1,000 miles, experienced different kind of weather, wind and sea conditions, sailed night watching under clear starry skies, anchored in beautiful bays, had lot of fun, delicious meals, wines and talks, and so many other lovely memories to tell. I do really had a great time, thanks Stephane!

Stéphane is a skipper of great experience, very demanding and knowing how to make himself understood without authoritarianism or unnecessary chatter. The choices of navigation are cautious but do not exclude either the difficulties that make the salt of a crossing. When the wind is not there, he knows how to choose interesting resting places where the crew is not bored: diving, visits, panoramas. In addition, he is a very good travel companion and, even more remarkable, a gourmet and very good cook (see lamb stew and bluefin tuna, God willing)! The on-board body is excellent and very, very affordable. As announced, this sailboat is truly an exceptional boat: fast, safe, comfortable and very well equipped. For those who love the action, it is a boat that does not advance alone and requires a real work of the crew at the maneuver. Experienced sailors as well as the less expert will find their account. Mosaferate khoubi doshte boshin Stéphane !
