This experience, in a nutshell

The Skipper of this experience is Paolo.

Our ASD offers an experience for true enthusiasts based on collaboration, sharing the values of life at sea and learning with technical notions and sailing, all surrounded byrelaxation, leisure, sun and swimming on board a splendid crewed sailing ship.

The adventure begins on Sunday evening in the well-equipped Marina di Salivoli where you will get a galley.

Early Monday morning we set sail and after a nice sail of a couple of hours, we take our first swim on the coasts of the island of Elba which, being so vast and full of beautiful bays, also offers very protected shelters to spend the night and wake up with a dip in the transparent waters. We can't miss a sail to the wild Capraia to dive into its crystal clear waters and spend the night in port to dine in one of its typical restaurants.

From the island of Capraia, we can also make a stop in the north of Corsica with the possibility of spotting cetaceans during the crossing.

We return to Salivoli on Saturday evening and disembark on Sunday morning by 10 am.

The one week on the boat "[hidden]" with Skipper Paolo and Sailor Vitorrio was absolutly amazing and passed way too fast. Paolo is a really good skipper who knows the best spots, best bays and best restaurants all while explaining and teaching you about sailing. Vitorrio is a superb sailor, always helpfull and upbeat, excellent cook and perfect apnea buddy. The north coast of Sardegna and southcoast of Corsica hold pristine beaches, amazing sunsets and delicious food and life on board feels like class trip with only the best things of it. Can recommend it sincerly to everybody, no matter age or origin, just go and do it and see for yourself!

A fantastic week sailing with a wonderful group. The boat is very spacious and there is enough room for people to have their own privacy. The cabins even have air-conditioning, which we didn't need but could be useful during a heatwave. Luca and Tomasso were great hosts, super friendly and happy for us to help with the sailing or just relax. The company of the other guests was fantastic. The scenery is incredibly beautiful. 4 stars instead of 5 because the food was OK but not great, and not super healthy. Essentially only lunch and dinner are included. Breakfast is coffee and a bag of store-bought cookies and crackers. Tons of white carbs for meals and snacks. There were very few vegetables (lunch salads were iceberg lettuce in a package that said 99 cents), a shame in the Mediterranean, especially in summer. Another downside was that, on the last day, we came back to the port quite early so our afternoon at sea was cut short, so this was really 5.5 days.

Between learning to sail with Luca, Tommaso's absolutely delicious, healthy and generous cuisine, the great atmosphere created with the group on the boat, the sublime places we had access to, this immense feeling of freedom when you are at sea, the midnight swims, the sunrises in the morning, the bursts of laughter, The music... Clearly one of the most beautiful weeks of vacation of my life! I can only recommend this superb experience to you with my eyes closed. I miss the boat already!!
