Paros has an airport (PAS) with regular domestic flights from Athens operated by airlines such as Aegean/Olympic Air; the duration of the Athens-Paros flight is about 35-45 minutes. From Paros airport to Parikia port, transfers via taxi or bus take about 10-20 minutes depending on your destination on the island. In seasonal periods there are also direct charter flights from some European airports; alternatively you can arrive at nearby airports (Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini) and continue by sea.

The main port of arrival is Parikia; the main departures are from Piraeus and Rafina (Athens) and from the nearby islands Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini and Syros. Operating shipowners include Blue Star Ferries, SeaJets, Golden Star Ferries and local operators; approximate distances: Piraeus-Paros with conventional ferries 4-5.5 hours, Piraeus with fast services 3-4 hours; Rafina-Paros with fast connections 3-4 hours; Mykonos-Paros 30-60 minutes; Naxos-Paros 20-40 minutes; Santorini-Paros 2-3.5 hours depending on the type of vessel. Some short crossings use the small port of call of Pounta; the main landing places of the regular routes are Parikia and, for certain lines, other piers on the island.

The skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in one of the boat's cabins.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

The purchase of the galley will be made by the participants immediately after boarding. The skipper will be able to advise you on the quantity and what to buy, while still leaving you the widest autonomy

Meal preparation is an activity shared by all participants in the experience. The skipper gladly lends a hand when free from sailing commitments. Washing dishes and pots is always shared among all participants

All participants are responsible for cleaning the common areas on board.

Travelling light is recommended: especially in summer, when you will almost exclusively be wearing swimwear, T-shirts, and shorts on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the height of summer, while something warmer is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of bad weather or when sailing. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, flip-flops/sandals for going ashore; if you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful when sailing - they must have white soles and be used only on the boat. It may also be useful to bring a small waterproof container for your wallet/cell phone to use when going ashore. For bed linen and towels, please refer to the “What's included” section.

A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

Yes, this experience is also suitable for groups with children/teenagers, but in this case, you must book the entire boat, possibly in agreement with other groups/families you know.

If you reserve the entire boat for yourself, the detailed itinerary can be agreed upon with the skipper. Otherwise, changes can be agreed upon as long as all participants on board agree.

The boat is equipped with 12V sockets (with USB and/or cigarette lighter connectors), which can normally be used at any time.

We will spend the night moored in a bay or in port, where we will be able to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
