Our itinerary
Our trip starts here:
Milazzo.
Check-in: 5:00 PM
Our trip ends here:
Milazzo.
Check-out: 7:00 AM
Leg 1
Boarding is scheduled from 17:00 at the Marina Poseidon in Milazzo (ME).
After settling on board and getting to know the participants, we will proceed with the purchase of the galley. Guests will be instructed on the rules to follow during the trip to ensure greater safety.
The day will end with a dinner on board or in one of the restaurants in Milazzo.
Leg 2
After breakfast, we will leave the moorings for the first island of our adventurous journey: Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian archipelago and the main tourist destination.
Waiting for us will be the bright White Beaches characterized by the high presence of pumice stone and crystal clear waters. After lunch, in the afternoon we will head to the smallest island of the Aeolian Islands: Panarea, a worldly and scenic island, with white houses and blue doors and windows, where we will spend the night in the roadstead or in a buoy field. Here an aperitif is a must!
Leg 3
In the clear hours of the morning we will visit the islets of Basiluzzo, Dattilo and Lisca Bianca formed off the island of Panarea.
We will continue eastwards, following the route that leads to the island of Stromboli, a still active volcano whose spectacular eruptions can be admired from the boat itself or with a trek from land.
We will spend the night in the roadstead or in the buoy field depending on availability.
Leg 4
On our way to Strombolicchio, a volcanic islet located at the northernmost point of the whole of Sicily, we will spend the morning swimming and diving in a cobalt blue sea.
Sailing to the island of Salina, we will have lunch at Cala Junco, a natural cove on the island of Panarea that houses, a few steps away, the remains of a prehistoric village dating back to the Bronze Age.
The day will end on the island of Salina, the greenest and most luxuriant of the Aeolian archipelago, thanks to its numerous water springs that make it a nature reserve.
Leg 5
Granita and cunzatu bread await us in Lingua, a small fishing village characterized by the presence of a small lake of brackish water, from which salt was obtained in past times and from which the name of the island of Salina originates.
This will be followed by a stop in the picturesque bay of Pollara, a small village that stands on the remains of an ancient volcanic crater that has partially sunk.
In the afternoon we will head to the island of Filicudi, the oldest of the archipelago and entirely visitable on foot. After visiting the small port of Pecorini a mare, we will spend the night at anchor or in a buoy field depending on availability.
Leg 6
In the morning we will circumnavigate the island of Filicudi, visiting the suggestive Grotta del Bue Marino and diving into the waters of the La Canna stack , known for its elongated shape and on the top of which a statue of the Madonna has been placed by mountaineers.
In the early afternoon we will head to the island of Lipari and anchor in the bay of Marina Corta. Here you can stroll along the streets of the town, full of shops and typical restaurants. We will spend the night in the roadstead or in a marina.
Leg 7
In the morning we will set sail for Vulcano reaching the western side, where there is the Pool of Venus, a small oasis surrounded by tuff and basalt rocks with crystal clear water, and the nearby Grotta del Cavallo. Here we will do several dives.
After lunch, in the early afternoon we will return to Milazzo to spend the last night moored at the port of departure.
Leg 8
A breakfast on board will mark the end of our exciting sailing holiday.
Disembarkation is expected within hours. 9:00.

Frequent questions
If you fly to Catania you can take a direct bus to the port of Milazzo or make a change in Messina. Marina Poseidon is 1.5 km from the port of Milazzo. There you can decide whether to walk to us or take a taxi.
From Palermo airport you can take a bus to the station and from there a train to Milazzo. Once you reach the station, it is recommended to take a taxi directly to the Poseidon marina.
If in a group, it is possible to request a private transfer.
Bring a soft duffel bag so you can stow it easily. Equip yourself with lots of swimsuits, beach towel, hat and sunscreen and moisturizers. Also bring a tarpaulin and a heavy garment. We will go ashore almost every evening so bring something elegant but at the same time comfortable considering that we will use the tender often. The first few days are very common nausea and constipation. It is recommended to withdraw cash before departure, the ATMs on the islands are often out of service.
Generally we do not give the possibility to book the cabin for single use. However, it may happen that, depending on the number and composition of the group, you are lucky enough to have the entire cabin at your disposal.
Certainly! Our holiday style is suitable for everyone.
Paid parking is not mandatory, but cost and availability are highly variable in high season. It is more comfortable to go ashore and in the evening you can stay up late.
In the roadstead, on the other hand, you don't pay, but to find a good anchorage you have to respect an arrival time. You go ashore and board with the tender. Depending on the success of the anchorage, the skipper can go down with you or stay on the boat. It is therefore essential to agree on the time of return.
The skipper will take care of the management of the boat and will ensure that the rules of good conduct are respected so that the holiday passes in total safety. He is not required to cook or clean but he can help and give good advice. It's not a tour guide nor a sea taxi! You have to respect him and you have to consider that he is working and that he has great responsibilities. Success does not depend solely on the skipper, but on each member of the crew!
You will be the one to take care of the kitchen and make sure that the skipper does not die of hunger!
Once you reach the departure marina, you and the skipper will draw up a galley list in order to stock up for most of the week. Keep in mind that during stopovers you can supplement it with fresh products.
Some cabins have en-suite bathrooms. We give the choice to those who book first!
In case of bad weather, the skipper will decide what is best to do for everyone's safety. The itinerary will undergo changes but you will still have the opportunity to explore the more sheltered slopes.
The common fund includes fuel, food and parking in marinas for a fee
In principle, yes. There may be changes in case of necessity or bad weather.
