I like to teach. I was a sailing instructor at the Glénans Nautical Center and then gave sailing lessons on board my two sailboats. I was also a scuba diving instructor. For me, the sharing of knowledge, the transmission of knowledge, is an essential element of the meeting.

Aware of the constraints and limits of the courses given in traditional sailing schools, and on the strength of the experience I have acquired in forty years of sailing, especially during my long-distance sailing in the Indian Ocean, in the Mediterranean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea (more than fifty thousand miles sailed), on board my sailboat, I give tailor-made sailing lessons, in real navigation situations.

I only take a maximum of four students on board at a time, in order to maximize learning time and practice. The courses will be adapted to the knowledge and the speed of progression of each one. We will sail 4 to 6 hours a day. You will have a little time left to take advantage of the magnificent anchorages that we will visit and to go for a walk ashore.

Departing from Saint Mandrier, we will sail around the magnificent islands of Porquerolles and Port Cros. To accommodate you, we have two large double cabins and one single cabin. We will share common areas. The very comfortable teak deck will allow you to indulge in contemplative relaxation, reading and tanning.

The sailing lessons given aboard my sailboat are aimed at several types of people:

Beginners who do not have the desire (or who feel they are past the age) to crowd five in a six-meter sailboat and who want to progress quickly by receiving small group lessons on a large sailboat.
Sailor apprentices who already have the basics of navigation but who want to improve their knowledge and practice with intensive courses in real navigation situations.
Sailboat owners who do not have the insurance to fully use their boats.
Travelers wishing to buy a boat to explore the sea planet but want to deepen their knowledge and experience life aboard a long-distance sailboat before setting off.
