This experience, in a nutshell
Classic cruise to the Pontine Islands – Ponza and Palmarola to enjoy one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in the Mediterranean. Palmarola is wilder and quieter, Ponza more festive and varied.
On the first day, after sailing for about 11 hours from Fiumicino, you will rest and relax at anchor in one of the many coves on the island of Palmarola. For those who do not want to embark at Fiumicino, there is an alternative boarding in Nettuno. The cruise will continue with the circumnavigation of Palmarola with many stops for swimming. Then it will be the turn of Ponza where you can disembark to visit the town.
Days of sailing around Ponza will follow with stops for swimming and meals. On the way back, a new stop will be made in Palmarola and then route to Fiumicino or Nettuno for disembarkation. Frequent snacks and meals will be prepared on the stock of the galley which will be appropriately sized and selected in order to avoid meals on land as much as possible, being however possible for those who wish, to disembark where possible and compatibly with weather or cruise routes.
The cruise is suitable for those who tend not to have seasickness problems and those who do not suffer from staying on board. The captain will be available for small lessons in sailing, meteorology and offshore navigation. On board, the set of classic rules of navigation and life on a boat must be respected for mutual serenity and harmony.
