Livorno can be reached via the A12/E80 motorway along the Tyrrhenian coast and via the SGC Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI) from the internal motorway network; from the A1 you can continue towards Florence and take the FI-PI-LI towards Livorno; the exits indicated for the city are those for Livorno and Livorno Nord along the A12; approximate travel times: Pisa ~25-35 minutes (about 20 km), Florence ~1 h 10-1 h 40 (about 80 km) via FI-PI-LI, Rome ~3 h 15-4 h (variable depending on the route and traffic). Parking lots and access to the center and the port can be reached from the main roads that lead to the quay and the port areas.

The main station is Livorno Centrale, served by regional and interregional trains; direct connections or with a short change at Pisa Centrale allow connections with Florence (Florence SMN → Livorno, approximate time 1 h 10-1 h 45), with Pisa (Pisa Centrale → Livorno, about 20-30 minutes) and with Rome via Pisa or with interregional trains (total times around 2 h 45-3 h 30 depending on the type of train and connections); regional trains are operated by Trenitalia and long-distance trains stop at the main stations of Tuscany.

✈️ By plane
The nearest airport is Pisa Galileo Galilei (PSA), about 20 km away: from the terminal you can reach Pisa Centrale station with the shuttle service and continue by train to Livorno (total time 30-45 minutes) or transfer by car or taxi (20-35 minutes depending on traffic); other useful airports are Florence Peretola (about 80 km, 60-90 minutes by car or with train connection to Florence SMN and train to Livorno) and the airports of Rome for national and international connections with longer transfer times. Taxis, buses, car rentals, and transfer services are available at the airport terminals.

If all cabins are occupied by guests, the skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in the dinette.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

Yes, it is possible to reserve a single cabin, but in this case the price is equal to that of two shares.

The provisions will be purchased by the participants immediately after boarding.

The skipper helps out, but meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience.
