This experience, in a nutshell

Set sail with Leo Skipper, for a unique experience between wind, sea and volcanic landscapes.

A week on a sailing boat and on foot to discover the Aeolian Islands from an authentic perspective: sailing among islands of fire, pumice coves and ancient fishing villages.

We will divide the tasks of navigation and meal preparation, respecting our travel companions and above all the places we visit, attentive to the ecosystem.

For those who wish, there will be the opportunity to learn the techniques of sailing yacht management and management. Useful for those who have to build miles.

All participants in our experiences will be registered with the sports association and covered by accident insurance.

Seven days of sea, wind and volcanoes: an authentic experience for those who love sailing, nature and freedom.

Book your place on board now and set off for a week you won't forget.

Please note: the program may be subject to change in relation to weather conditions and/or on the skipper's instructions.

Leg 1

Day 1 Volcano

Embarkation in Milazzo (Friday evening). We make the galley and set sail towards Vulcano, where you can relax in the natural hot mud or climb up to the crater to admire the sunset over the sea.

A first taste of freedom and adventure.

Day 1 Volcano

Leg 2

Day 2 Lipari and Salina

Route to Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands. Disused pumice quarries dye the sea white, creating a tropical effect.

Then off to Salina, the island of the Postino, where we take a swim in Pollara , famous because Pablo Neruda lived here, among rocks, scents of capers and poetry.

Day 2 Lipari and Salina

Leg 3

Day 3 Filicudi

Sailing towards Filicudi, often accompanied by dolphins, we discover one of the most authentic and peaceful islands.

A dip in the Canna at sunset and evening in the picturesque village of Pecorini a Mare, between Sicilian dishes and Malvasia wine.

Day 3 Filicudi

Leg 4

Day 4 Panarea and Stromboli

Route to Panarea, queen of summer nightlife and the most crystalline bays.

In the afternoon we head for Stromboli, the island of fire, to admire the Sciara del Fuoco, the spectacular lava flow that slides into the sea, at sunset.

A magical night under the stars.

Day 4 Panarea and Stromboli

Leg 5

Day 5 Return to Milazzo

Quiet return with the wind in my sails and the images of an unforgettable journey in my eyes.

We thank Aeolus, guardian of the winds, and say goodbye to the Aeolian Islands with a last toast on board.

Day 5 Return to Milazzo

Nice holiday in the blue of the sky and the sea!! On the other hand, the return to the gray sky and traffic of Bergamo was challenging

I was so excited to go sailing in Greece. This dream unfortunately took a quick turn into a nightmare. The captain didn’t take us to any of the sites listed on the itinerary. We stayed close to the original port the whole trip. We would ask him each day to go to one of the listed places and he would just ignore the suggestions. He would also blame it each day on the weather yet we had beautiful weather the whole trip, minus the first day. The boat itself was constantly breaking down. We had a broke toilet which was not a plus. But the worst part of the trip was when the captain used the outside shower in front of myself and a few of the other girls on the boat. He proceeded to take his swim shorts off deliberately flashing his private parts to us. All the lady’s became super uncomfortable on the boat afterwards. It was super inappropriate. Would highly recommended spending your money elsewhere. Was a horrific experience.

The holiday did not go as I hoped and the main sore point is given by the skipper. It felt more like being in prison than on vacation. Rino did nothing but list prohibitions, he had a know-it-all and always annoyed tone. He had the constant habit of walking around the boat early in the morning, banging his feet forcefully near the cabins and managed the doors of the cabins as he pleased, opening and closing them even while we were inside. What is even more serious, in my opinion he disrespected us on at least two occasions by taking off his swimsuit in front of everyone to shower naked without even notifying us. A really unprofessional behavior. As for the itinerary, unfortunately it was not respected despite the weather conditions were favorable. Apart from the first day when we witnessed a storm, in all the following days not a leaf flew. If there had been the skipper's will, we could have easily arrived in Paxos (which we did not see). We have returned several times to the same places despite countless requests to see something new. We sailed a maximum of two hours a day, we practically paid for his vacation since for the rest of the time he was lying in the shade reading! Finally, I found the location of the marina inconvenient (although suggestive inside the fortress) as you have to walk at least twenty minutes on foot between stairs and climbs to reach the supermarket. I would suggest a more accessible marina considering that when you do a week's shopping for 6 people you don't go back to the boat with a few envelopes.
