This experience, in a nutshell

This is a one way trip from the charming town of Skagen in nothern Denmark along the wst coast of Sweeden to Norway.

You may embark during the weekend (Friday / Saturday), and we leave on Sunday. We will cross Skagerak to the West Coast of Sweeden, ad then northwards along the coast of Sweeden.

Will spend the nights in some of the very nice spots along the coast. Either in a calm anchoarge or a charming town. The tour ends in Holmestrand, about 1 hour by train south of Oslo.

Most of the trip will be inshore, but also some open water passages.

No sailing experience is required, you will be given all required instructions / training.

But it is expected you participate in all aspects of safe sailing and navigation.

Our itinerary

We start with an open water crossing of SKagerak to West Coast of Sweeden. Marstrand is a nice place to stop. It is a historical town, as well as the sailing hub on the west coast. Along the coast it is many nice anchorages / natural harbours or charming villages. Most of the tour will be inshore, but also some parts with more open water.

We expect 6 - 8 hours sailing daily, pending on final route, and weather (wind).

As always will the weather decide final route, but as most of the route is sheltered / partly sheltered BIG changes are not expected.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Sailing from Bergen to Oslo with Steinar was a great experience! Besides being a good cook, he has many stories to tell and likes sharing them :). He is also a man with a lot of sailing expertise and knows what he is doing. Would defenitely recommend sailing with him!

Steinar is a wonderful person, caring, friendly and great connoisseur of the sea and sailing, always in total safety. He worked hard to make this holiday unforgettable, from the choice of the itinerary, to the activities to be carried out on land, to the food, up to the various technical teachings of sailing and boating. It wasn't your classic holiday, but I'd call it more of a fantastic experience than you'll hardly forget.
