This year we want to introduce you to the South of France, starting with Hyeres, a famous seaside resort, also known as Hyères-les-Palmiers for the 7,000 palm trees housed in its gardens. It is characterized by medieval streets in the Old Town, and the modern city is pervaded by a muffled Belle Époque atmosphere.

Then we will sail to the beautiful and natural islands of Hyres: les Porquerolles and Port Cros! Port Cros is a wild and protected island, the heart of Europe's first national marine park, famous for its exceptional terrestrial and marine biodiversity (Mediterranean flora, rare birds, multicolored fish), its unspoiled nature without cars, hiking trails and diving, enriched by a historical heritage of forts and Roman remains. Porquerolles, the Golden Isle is the largest of the Hyères Islands, an unspoiled Mediterranean paradise, famous for its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters (often compared to the Caribbean), rich Mediterranean vegetation, cycling and hiking trails, and a picturesque car-free village, protected as part of the Port Cros National Park, with a slow atmosphere and an important nature reserve. We will also stop in Bandol, a Provençal village on the Mediterranean coast, famous for its exceptional wine terroir (especially the red and rosé wines made from Mourvèdre), the lively marina, a picturesque old town with morning markets and authentic local life, surrounded by a landscape of terraced vineyards protected from the sea and the sun.

We will also discover La Ciotat, a small jewel of Provence, famous for Eden, the oldest cinema in the world still in existence, a place of important film events just a stone's throw from the sea. Its historic center is no less: stroll through the narrow streets and cobblestone alleys of the historic center, houses with facades in southern colors, with small vases of flowers attached to the painted windows.

We will have a night at the Calanq

ue de Port Miou, a spectacular, rocky fjord-like bay near Cassis, is a natural harbor, ideal for those exploring the French Mediterranean coast; and is part of the Calanques National Park.

We will also sail to Sanary sur Mer, a very pretty village, built around a small cove of the coast, with a natural harbor, retains its Provençal character with colorful traditional boats, the pointus, small flat-bottomed sailboats. The town is recognized as one of the most authentic villages on the entire French Mediterranean coast and has a beautiful little church all frescoed.

Finally, for the last night we will be in Toulon, which has above all an enchanting environment, halfway between the sea and the mountains. Renowned for its relaxed lifestyle and ideal geographical location, Toulon is also an artistic, cultural and vibrant city.
