This experience, in a nutshell

The Tuamotu, characterized by coral rings surrounding the lagoons and white beaches dotted with coconut palms, are a perfect environment for snorkelers and marine life lovers.

The tropical climate and warm humid is tempered by the trade winds that blow all year round. The temperature is always constant, with an annual average of around 26 °C.

The TUAMOTU are coral atolls, coral rings that surround a lagoon that can be accessed through passes. Tackling the entrance to an atoll with a sailboat, crossing the passe at an incoming tide when the mascarene created by the current makes the sea boil is an exciting experience.

Embarkation and disembarkation in Fakarava, in the village of Rotoava reachable from the small airport in 15 minutes by taxi.

In the first part of the cruise we will sail inside the lagoon, with 2 intermediate stops at Pakokota Point for snorkelling and Motu Hirifa, with its coral sand beaches, where you can have a Polynesian dinner at Lisa and Toria's, and then reach the spectacular South Pass of Tetamanu, one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. Here you can stop for 2 days to visit the ancient village and take a flight in the passe swimming carried by the current with sharks, dolphins, giant napoleon fish and colorful fish. In the following days, with an intermediate stop, we will return to Rotoava where it will be possible to organize with a local diving center, for those interested, a dive in the Garue pass, to the north, the largest of the archipelago. If the weather permits, we will continue with an offshore navigation of about 4 hours towards the uninhabited atoll of Toau to spend 2 days in complete isolation, surrounded only by the coral reef, manta rays, parrotfish and the thousand colors of the sea.

We will return to Fakarava to visit a "ferme perlière" and see how a Polynesian black pearl is born and take a tour of the atoll by bike. Disembarkation will take place in Rotoava.

Andrea and Kikka made our cruise unforgettable! Andrea is a great commander and with his thirty years of experience he entertained us with the stories of his many crossings and gave us a navigation with many sailings always in maximum safety making our experience exciting. Kikka pampered us with the onboard kitchen. Thanks to his expertise he taught us the rudiments of sailing and gently complied with our every need. I will definitely do other cruises with them.
