This experience, in a nutshell

The Marine Protected Area of the Egadi Islands, the largest in Europe, is the ideal destination for a week's sailing holiday. Get ready for a breathtaking immersion in a thousand-year-old historical and natural heritage away from the chaotic pace of the city.

Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo will be the destinations of our itinerary.

The first stop on our itinerary is Favignana, the largest, most worldly island, where we will spend our first days discovering the coves, the small beaches bathed by crystal clear waters. Historically known for the culture of fishing and tuna processing, Favignana is today the worldly center of the archipelago and attracts many tourists from all over the world.

Having chosen Favignana as our first stop guarantees us a favorable position to reach the island of Levanzo, the smallest of the Egadi Islands, known for being "the island of flying boats" thanks to the countless postcards depicting the port full of small boats that seem to float in an invisible sea.

In the following days we can head to Marettimo, the ancient Hiera "sacred island", the wildest and most authentic island of the archipelago.

During the navigation you will learn the secrets of sailing and the fundamental maneuvers to steer the boat and you will have the opportunity to improve your seafaring knowledge. You will be guided by the wind to discover the most evocative places: caves, coves, beaches of white sand and crystal clear water will be the ideal setting where you can enjoy diving, long swims or moments of relaxation, lying on a boat, perhaps in the company of a good book or a cheerful crew!

It will be possible to choose to spend the nights at anchor, sleep under the stars lulled by the sea and wake up early in the morning to admire the first light of dawn.

We will return to Marsala to spend the last evening on board to remember the intense emotions that this holiday has given us. The disembarkation is scheduled for Saturday morning, with a luggage full of memories.

NB: The skipper on board will be me or one of my trusted collaborators

Leg 1

DAY 1

We meet at 6 p.m. in the port of Marsala, to meet the skipper, organize the galley and take a seat in the cabins.

The first stop on our itinerary is Favignana.

Leg 2

DAY 2

On the morning of the second day, after leaving the moorings, we let the wind accompany us around the island to discover its enchanted places: Cala rotonda, Previto, Bue Marino, Cala pozzo or Cala faraglioni, you are spoiled for choice. Mask, sup or tender, and we are ready to explore the seabed full of life!

Leg 3

DAY 3

Having chosen Favignana as our first stop guarantees us a favorable position to reach the island of Levanzo, the smallest of the Egadi Islands. The transparent waters, the dense Mediterranean vegetation will be the ideal setting where you can enjoy a long swim or a moment of peace, lying in the shade. Levanzo preserves a thousand-year history: from the ground it is possible to visit the Grotta del Genovese which with its colorful graffiti represents one of the most important sites of prehistoric art in Italy; From the sea we can organize dives in the underwater archaeological itinerary of the island, to discover the countless finds preserved there.

Leg 4

DAY 4

Leg 5

DAY 5

In Marettimo, after a hearty breakfast of brioche and granita, we could organize a trek along the paths that lead to Pizzo Falcone, to the Roman houses or to the Castle, among rugged and sometimes impervious streets, which offer a view of a breathtaking landscape.

In the evening, to refresh ourselves from fatigue, we can set an aperitif at sunset.

Leg 6

DAY 6

We return to Favignana: we sail towards the port, the town is waiting for us! Among the many attractions of the island, we invite you to discover the Tonnara Florio, however, if you are a sportsman, you cannot miss the climb to the Castle of Santa Caterina at sunset or a bike ride to the tuff quarries. We spend the afternoon and evening here, to have dinner in one of the many restaurants that prepare excellent tuna dishes!

Leg 7

DAY 7

Before leaving, we buy excellent fresh fish from local fishermen to cook on board! The last swims, the last dives and in the afternoon we point the bow towards the port of Marsala, to spend the last evening on board or discovering the city, remembering the intense emotions that this holiday has given us.

The disembarkation is scheduled for Saturday morning, with a bag full of memories!
