This experience, in a nutshell

Hello! Ready to set sail for a week of pure sea, wind and discovery along one of the wildest and most fascinating coasts of Turkey?

This is the second week of our summer adventure.

Our holiday is non-profit: the skipper will provide experience and passion to enjoy the sea in total relaxation, freedom and joy. It will be a one-way itinerant route, which will allow us to explore new places every day without having to go back!

The meeting point is the charming town of Datça (easily reachable with a transfer from Marmaris, organized by me but not included in the price).

From here we will cast off to the east, sailing between hidden bays accessible only from the sea, unique historical sites and local restaurants moored directly on the fishermen's docks, until we return to the Mai Yacht Club in Fethiye.

It will be a beach holiday, sailing, dinners in the roadstead under the stars and aperitifs at sunset. In addition, during the trip we will meet the boats of other skipper friends sailing in the same area at sea and in the bays: the perfect opportunity to make new friends and share unforgettable moments together!

15 August: Datça & Knidos Meeting and boarding in Datça (Plan B: Marti Marina). Immediate route to Knidos to spend the first night in the roadstead under the stars.

August 16th: Ciftlik & Promil Head to the beautiful Ciftlik Koyu Bay for the first swim of the week, evening and night at Promil Beach.

August 17th: Larymna and Saksili Sail to Larymna with a visit on land and night at anchor in the protected Saksili Koyu.

August 18th: Bozukkale and Local Flavors Relaxing morning in Saksili. Lunch and evening in Bozukkale, moored at the private pier of a typical restaurant (Alibaba or Sailor's House) for an unforgettable dinner.

19 August: Blue Grotto A day of real sailing: a course of about 30 miles to the spectacular Blue Grotto for dives in electric blue waters.

20 August: Göcek or Akvarium Koyu We enter the Gulf of Göcek. Evening in one of the most picturesque bays or in Akvarium Koyu.

21-22 August: Return to Fethiye Final sail and return to Fethiye on the evening of the 21st. Night on board and disembarkation on Saturday 22 morning by 08:00.

What a fantastic experience !! From the very first moment I loved it, and it only got better and better. First of all, everyone on the boat was friendly and funny, so we had the best time all together. Secondly, sailing in itself was just awsome. The deepest thanks go to the skipper Matteo (and Chiara!), who were outstanding. They took us in stunning places, with a variety of landscapes and vibes ; they let us help them out on the boat teaching us many many things about sailing ; they were very well organized, always put safety first, and very professionally dealt with some technical issues on the boat (not theiir fault) ; lastly, they were both absolutely lovely people. I can't wait to sail with these two again ! I am very happy to say I not only got a terrific holiday, but I also got new friends !
