This experience, in a nutshell

A unique adventure among the pearls of the Tyrrhenian Sea, aboard a luxury maxi yacht, to discover some of the most fascinating destinations in the Mediterranean: Gaeta, Ischia, Procida, Ventotene, Ponza and Palmarola. A journey that combines crystal clear sea, history, spectacular landscapes and the pleasure of sailing.

An itinerary between history and nature

Gaeta – The medieval pearl

Let's start from Gaeta, a city overlooking the sea and full of charm. Stroll through the historic center, visit the Sanctuary of the Split Mountain and enjoy the atmosphere of its beautiful gulf.

Ischia – The green island

Between nature and well-being, Ischia offers thermal waters, breathtaking views and iconic places such as the Aragonese Castle.

Procida – Colors and authenticity

Small and picturesque, Procida conquers with its colorful houses, alleys overlooking the sea and the authentic charm of Terra Murata.

Ventotene – History and unspoiled nature

An island of wild charm, among ancient ruins, evocative views and turquoise waters.

Ponza – Bays and sea caves

Crystal clear sea, hidden coves and spectacular landscapes make Ponza one of the most popular islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Palmarola – The unspoiled paradise

The last stop on the journey, Palmarola is a wild and unspoiled island, perfect for snorkeling, swimming and moments of pure relaxation.

On board the maxi yacht: comfort and sea life

For seven days, the maxi yacht will be your home on the sea, with large and comfortable spaces designed to experience sailing in total relaxation.

On board you can:

With a bit of luck, you might even spot dolphins swimming alongside the boat.

For sailing enthusiasts, there is the opportunity to actively participate in sailing. For those seeking relaxation, travel offers sun, sea and slow rhythms. For nature lovers, spectacular bays and seabeds to explore.

Our trip ends here:

Formia.

Check-out: 7:00 PM

Leg 1

Day 1

Embarkation in Formia (LT) and first magic in Gaeta Medievale

Boarding from 16:00 at Formia (LT) –

After a brief acquaintance with the skipper, and a welcome toast, you will place your luggage in the cabins. Further safety briefing and departure for a short navigation in the Gulf of Gaeta. We will moor in the roadstead in front of the picturesque medieval village of Gaeta. Aperitif, dinner on board with a view of the Aragonese castle.

Leg 2

Day 2

Sail to Ischia

Sail to Ischia with lunch during the sailing. Sailing time about 5 hours. Swimming in the cove of Lacco Ameno or Negombo. In the late afternoon, we move to Corricella, the wonderful bay of the island of Procida. The Corricella at sunset is a nativity scene of colors (Microsoft used the images of the Corricella as a screensaver). Possibility to go ashore with the tender. We recommend dining on land in one of the many restaurants on the island. Return on board by comfortable taxi boat service.

Leg 3

Day 3

Thermal baths and route to Ventotene

Breakfast and navigation to Ischia (Maronti area), where we take a thermal bath in Sorgeto. In Sorgeto there are beautiful and wild sea pools with thermal water. Lunch on the boat. In the afternoon we sail to Ventotene. We reach it in about 3.5 hours. We will moor in the port of Ventotene and then you will have the opportunity to comfortably go ashore and have dinner in one of the many restaurants on the island. The boat will remain moored for the night close to the Roman Port, the only existing example of a Roman Port still usable.

Leg 4

Day 4

From Ventotene to Ponza, east side and overnight stay in Frontone

Relaxed breakfast. 3-4 hours sail to Ponza. Arrival in the bay of Frontone with its turquoise waters. Afternoon dedicated to swimming and relaxing. Possibility to dine on land or on board.

Leg 5

Day 5

Complete exploration of the West of Ponza and overnight stay in Frontone

Day dedicated to the western side of the island. Slow coastal navigation with multiple stops: Chiaia di Luna, Lucia Rosa, Cala Feola and its natural pools. The sea caves that can be reached by tender are spectacular, with incredible plays of light. Snorkeling is among the best in the archipelago thanks to the volcanic rocks rich in marine life. Light lunch on board. Afternoon of doing nothing between swimming and relaxing on the deck.

In the late afternoon we return to the bay of Frontone for the overnight stay. Here the atmosphere is magical, with the tuff walls turning orange at sunset. After a freshwater shower on deck, dine on land at one of the restaurants in Frontone Bay. Return on board with the comfortable taxi boat (service active until late at night with low costs).

Every moment is an invitation to slow down and savor the present.

Leg 6

Day 6

Palmarola, the wildest and most unspoiled island

Navigation to Palmarola, often called "the pearl of the Pontine". Uninhabited and protected, it offers lunar landscapes of volcanic rocks. Complete circumnavigation: the rock "Cathedral", Cala Brigantino, the Spermaforo, sea caves accessible only by tender. Repeated stops for swimming in crystal clear waters, snorkeling between vertical walls rich in fauna, lunch in the roadstead with breathtaking views. Here you feel the true and deep contact with wild nature. Overnight stay in Cala Brigantino under a starry sky that seems very close and dinner on board. This is the day that everyone remembers forever.

Leg 7

Day 7

Last swims in Zannone and return to Formia

Morning at the islet of Zannone, a naturalistic oasis in the Circeo National Park with rich seabeds and very little human presence. Last dives, final snorkeling, group photo and farewell lunch on board. In the early afternoon return to Formia with arrival scheduled between 18:00 and 19:00. Landing full of indelible memories and a newfound serenity.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

7-day cruise on a 22 m maxi yacht with skipper from Pontine and Phlegraean

The magic and beauty of the Pontine islands; Luke's competence; Sabina's efficiency and the pleasant discovery of a group of close-knit travel companions. What more could you ask for? A wonderful experience to be repeated for sure

I bring with me beautiful memories of my first experience on a sailing boat, an experience shared with a friend and with other nice people met on board the beautiful and comfortable boat that hosted us. The skipper Luca immediately gave me security and confidence thanks to his experience and skills, understandable even by a neophyte like me, and also delighted us with tasty meals consumed overlooking the wonderful views of the Pontine islands. Experience to do and repeat.

Very nice holiday. The boat is large with large and comfortable outdoor spaces. We sailed in the Pontine archipelago and admired and enjoyed truly wonderful places, with clear waters of a thousand colors and breathtaking views. Palmarola in particular is an enchantment. Luca was the added value of this cruise, skilled and capable Skipper always master of the situation, who instills security, kind caring, patient and magnificent cook. We ate really well. Excellent meals prepared with care and mainly fish. I did several cabin charter cruises, 3 with Sailsquare, without taking anything away from the others this was certainly the best. A heartfelt thanks to Luca and also to my wonderful travel companions.
