To or from Fezzano it is mainly accessed via the A12 motorway (Genoa-Livorno) or the A15 Parma-La Spezia: exit La Spezia and continue on the SS1 (Aurelia) towards Lerici/Porto Venere; the last sections take place on provincial roads with signs for Porto Venere / Fezzano; the approximate travel times are about 15-25 minutes from La Spezia, 1-1.5 hours from Genoa, about 1 hour from Pisa and 1.5-2 hours from Florence depending on traffic and the route chosen.

The reference station is La Spezia Centrale, served by regional trains and long-distance connections with Genoa, Pisa and Florence; the train travel time is approximately 1-1.5 hours from Genoa, 20-50 minutes from Pisa and 2 hours or more from Florence; from La Spezia station the transfer to Fezzano is by local bus or taxi to the coast of the Gulf of Poets, with road connection times of about 15-30 minutes depending on the service chosen.

The nearest airports are Pisa Galileo Galilei and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo; from Pisa the transfer combines train or car to La Spezia (about 50-90 minutes) and then continue by road to Fezzano, from Genoa the rail or road connection to La Spezia takes about 1-1.5 hours; transfer options include regional train, car rental, transfer or taxi to La Spezia and continuation by road to Fezzano, with overall times varying depending on arrival times and the chosen means of transport.

The skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in one of the boat's cabins.

At guests' disposal there are two double cabins aft, while the one in the bow is occupied by the skipper / owner ... and by many other things in such a way as to leave the dinete free.

No, it is not possible to reserve a single cabin, as all cabins are shared between participants in order to maintain the group travel formula.

It is managed by the participants but if there are difficulties or special needs we find a solution together.

The skipper helps out, but meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience.

Travelling light is recommended: especially in summer, when you will almost exclusively be wearing swimwear, T-shirts, and shorts on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the height of summer, while something warmer is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of bad weather or when sailing. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, flip-flops/sandals for going ashore; if you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful when sailing - they must have white soles and be used only on the boat. It may also be useful to bring a small waterproof container for your wallet/cell phone to use when going ashore. For bed linen and towels, please refer to the “What's included” section.

A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed on board.

No, smoking is not permitted on board, either inside or outside the boat.

The boat is equipped with both 12V sockets (with USB and/or cigarette lighter connectors) and 220V sockets, which can normally be used at any time.

We will spend the night moored in a bay or in port, where we will be able to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
