Brief description of the holiday
A 10 days (840 Nautical Miles) sailing adventure from La Paz,
capital of Baja California Sur, Mexico, to the Revillagigedo
Archipelago where we will make a stop at Socorro Island and San
Form La Paz we will pass the San Lorenzo Channel, then passing between Isla Espiritu Santo and the Cerro Tecolote. Next we will reach the Cerralvo Channel between Isla Jacques Cousteau and Punta Arena de la Ventana. Later we will pass the Marine Natural Reservoir of Cabo Plumo, and we will head South-South-West in the open Pacific Ocean for a few days of broad reaching or running toward Socorro Island .
We will spend a couple of days at anchor at Socorro, while visiting the island, hiking, and snorkeling.
Next we will sail to the nearby inhabited San Benedicto Island anchoring at the bottom of its dormant volcano for two days.
The return will be an intense sailing experience, beating or tight reaching for about 3 days before reaching the Baja California Peninsula.

The vessel construction is of Airex foam sandwich with unidirectional glass and Kevlar, and carbon-fiber compression space frame is built into the deck, Crossbeams are unidirectional glass/carbon fiber composite. The result is a very stiff, very strong structure. Stability is achieved by 1) a wide 32 foot / 9.75 m beam, 2 ) a moderate 50 foot / 15.5 m mast, 3) outriggers' shaped with high buoyancy forward and tapering aft to reduce pitching 4) high buoyancy outriggers 200% of total boat displacement (plus central hull watertight compartments up to 250% buoyancy).

Other important information
The vessel is located in Marina Cortez, La Paz, BCS, Mexico. You will need your own technical gear including: Sailing Gloves, foul weather Jacket, Trousers, and Boots, fleece Jackets and Pants, Sailing Shoes, Hat, Sunglasses. Due to the nature of this trip we require each guest signing a Liability Waiver and we recommend having Travel / Medical Insurance. The crew members will be in charge of the 2 night shifts, but you will be welcome to take part as you please.
Cancellations and Refund
This experience undergoes Sailsquare's standard Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- As long as the Experience is Not Confirmed, you can cancel your reservation at any time and receive a refund of the amount paid.
- If the Experience is Confirmed, you can cancel your reservation up to 30 days before departure and receive a full refund.
- If available for the selected Experience, you can choose our Extended Refund Terms and cancel your booking at any time up to the departure, and receive a refund of the paid amount, upon the occurrence of certain conditions (illness, including Covid-19, work-related reason, domestic emergency, previous medical conditions and many more).
Knowing what expenses are included and excluded from your booking fee will enable you to have a good idea of the total cost of your chosen experience.
